Red Moderator: Ben
I've worked more than 13 years in the realm of opinion journalism. Most recently, I wrote editorials for The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, California. Prior to that, I was managing editor of the Claremont Review of Books. I've written editorials and news analysis for Investor's Business Daily, education policy papers for the Claremont Institute, and features for the Center for the Study of Popular Culture. My stuff has also appeared in the L.A. Times, the Orange County Register, the San Diego Union-Tribune, and the Arizona Republic.
I graduated with a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego. I currently live in the Inland Empire of Southern California (the reddish, smoggy part of So. Cal about 50 miles east of L.A.) with my wife Millie, our son Benjamin, two cats, five fish and an albino corn snake named Bart Karate Man.
