The Clinton campaign didn't like David Shuster's comments about Chelsea.
The 'pimp' comment: Is MSNBC sexist?
MSNBC correspondent David Shuster has been suspended for suggesting the Clinton campaign had "pimped out" Chelsea Clinton on the campaign trail. The suspension follows by a few weeks the Chris Matthews apology for his comments about Hillary Clinton's political campaign -- and activists are starting to suggest there's a pattern of sexism at MSNBC.

Submitted on February 28th, 2008 by AnonymousIf Shuster and MSNBC can't maintain journalistic integrity and objectivity, then they should all find other jobs. What passes for news there is no obviously slanted towards Clinton haters, and the vindictiveness creeps closer and closer to slander. Shuster thought he could get away with sewer talk, to one-up his idols Carlson and Scarbourgh, and per chance to get more air time by demonstrating his loyalty to the network. Viewers are right to demand more integrity from a network that wants to be a leader in news and politic.

Clinton tries to shut down critics
Submitted on February 10th, 2008 by Another skepticThe real story is that Sen. Clinton hates the media and tries to shut down her critics when they give her a chance.
The word "pimp" certainly is offensive to many, but it make the point so well that Shuster's point is an instant classic.
Clinton, of course, only makes the point bolder and more believable by throwing a hussy fit over Shuster's comment.
Now, every voter gets the point, and more than 90% probably agree with it.
Sen. Clinton sheltered her daughter, Chelsa, until she decided to put her own interests ahead of the kid's.
Typical Clinton.
