Amid conspiracy theories, Kucinich asks for New Hampshire recount
New Hampshire isn't over. Not quite.
Dennis Kucinich is asking for a recount of votes in that state's primary election, which was held Tuesday, saying he wants ''100 percent of the voters had 100 percent of their votes counted.''
New Hampshire, of course, is where Hillary Clinton surprised everybody by winning a primary that polls and pundits had assured everybody Barack Obama would win. The unexpected turnaround sparked a small but rising tide of conspiracy theories that the election had been stolen.
"The votes that were cast on election day were accurately reflected in the results," said the New Hampshire elections chief. But how do we know we can trust voting results?
