I agree that it has grown very tiresome to be seeing male frontal nudity only. Breasts do not count!!!! It is time for equality nudity. If they are gpoing to show a man's penis then let's also see a woman's labia. it can be done but they have decided not to show that. Therefore, at the moment, it is a double standard bias towards men. So, let's end it ! Equal amounts of both and then maybe both genders will stop feeling so discriminated against and start to relax with what is being shown. I am beginning to believe that the feeling of being discriminated against is worse than the actual nudity. Everyone wants to feel equal, and it sure would be nice to see it happen.
FINALLY someone speaks the truth. I have yet to see any vaginas shown graphically and a man's genitals are equal to a woman's genitals. NOT her breasts.
Why do you say every man has a penis and ever woman has boobs? Are you seriously comparing boobs to a penis? My question is why don't they show a vagina graphically like they show a penis? They always have a mound of pubic hair you need a lawnmower to get through. If they show a penis graphically, they should show a vagina graphically. Movies have tried, but they get an NC-17 rating. Why is that? I prefer to not see any genitals on screen. It goes too far.
My top ten list of favorite movies contain little or no nudity. I think it is mostly for shock value. I do believe we are too hung up on nudity and it doesn't bother me now, but cinema nudity did bother me when I was a teenager. I think we should teach our younger generations to accept their bodies no matter what and not be ashamed. One would think going mainstream with nudity would help people be more comfortable with their own bodies because many young males are definitly concerned with having their size compared to others, and if they see that most aren't like the porn stars they would realize that there is no need to feel like less of a man. However, since all the cinema female nudity apparently has had a negative affect on young females, I don't think cinema male nudity is going to do anything about our nudity hang-ups. I'll also add that I don't believe the male/female equality argument since I've never seen the female genitalia in a movie (pubic hair is NOT genitalia).
America is the only country that is so torn. We show sex in all commercials except condom commercials and are afraid to teach it in schools. We're perversely repressed (repressed prudes?) and need to get over it like the rest of the Western world. I'm not saying I want to see nudity in all the movies I go to (or any) but I don't see what the big deal is. It is a penis/vagina/whatever. It isn't the end of the world to see nudity.
Why in the world would I want to look at a nude guy if I don't love him and if I don't want to have relations with him. I only enjoy the pleasure of seeing a man nude who I love want to be with closely.
It is a special thing with me that shouldn't be exploited for cheap thrills to others.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE IT, DON'T WATCH IT!!!! Simple as that. It shouldn't be a someone's job to keep you from seeing something that everyone has to have one or the other. If you see nudity on TV and you don't like it, change the channel. Don't want kids to see it? Block the channel.
I see nothing wrong with nudity, though prefer the ones who are nude to at least be mildly attractive... but that isn't the point, nor the issue.
I actually voted against it, but not for the usual reasons. My reasoning is that in Hollywood, they never present nudity in a mature manner. It's always just a gimmick to boost ratings or to make a scene look more seedy or gritty. You just don't see any tasteful nudity out there now days, or for that matter, very many tasteful films.
ALL nekked people are just wierd looking. yeah yeah, we're all nekked under clothes. besides, think logically now...if you set a precedent to allow nekky for men and women alike, just think of all the men and women who don't look so good w/o the clothing, wanting to get 'nekky' too. (imagine...someone like...oh..Mimi from the Drew Carey show...butt nekked, every week for your viewing (un)pleasure.)get it?

Nudity should be reserved
Submitted on April 19th, 2008 by AnonymousNudity should be reserved for the person you love. Sex shouldn't be a spectator sport.
