Let's face it the money from the tax rebate will go directly into gas tanks. The people who actually get a rebate are barely surviving the inflation/recession and need money for transportation.
Exactly where will the money be coming from?? It, of course, will be borrowed.
Here's what I have a difficult time understanding. Is it better to tax and spend or borrow and spend? Most republicans react with pain when their candidate says the democrats will raise taxes. However, are we all not being taxed massively by the deflation of the dollar?

If I get a check I'll just rathole it. It will be the same thing as the last time the government gave us a "rebate." The money will have to be given back to the government in your next income tax return. When are people going to realize government is not Santa Claus?
