After Tuesday's primaries in Indiana and North Carolina, the pundits are saying that Hillary Clinton has -- at long last -- lost the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama. Even George McGovern is saying it's time for her to quit. But she's still in the race.
Is it time for Hillary Clinton to quit? Can anything put an end to the race? Listen to Ben and Joel's discussion.

If someone questions Obama's
Submitted on May 9th, 2008 by AnonymousIf someone questions Obama's credentials, are they a bigot?
If thee dems were smart, they would have strategized a little better. Obama is young and inexperienced, but in a few years, he would have been seasoned and more electable. We could have had Hillary, the first woman, and then Obama. As for her dropping out? Why should she quit? Winners never quit and quitters never win! Also, I find it interesting that Kennedy didn't quit when running against Jimmy Carter. He took it all the way to the convention and stirred it up quite a bit. The dems do not want to have to fight it out on the floor anymore. They want a few strongmen in the party to decide who goes forward and who stays in, and that is a pity. I am a lifelong democrat and have become increasingly disgusted with my party. I am very disappointed that I won't see a woman president in my lifetime. Thanks to the lack of leadershio in the party.

Racism still strong
Submitted on May 8th, 2008 by AnonymousIt is truly sad that so many people out there refuse to be objective when it comes to Obama. The sick rumors and out right lies that are manufactured are a crime. Maybe Hillary would be a better president than Obama but that doesn't mean he isn't an honorable man. This garbage about him being a radical or has terrorist ties needs to stop. Unfortunately there are a lot of people similar to the author of BIRTH RIGHT. They form their opinions on rumors and untruths started by hate mongers and bigots. They seem incapable in doing a little homework on their own in order to find out what the real facts are.

BIRTH RIGHT
Submitted on May 7th, 2008 by AnonymousWHERE,do you people get this birth right crap.Hillary has fought hard for what she believe's in,and for us.AND do you really believe OBAMA will be elected,if so stay off your drugs for awhile, you watch OBAMA change if elected. The country won't change, but Obama will, his real face will appear like your anti-christ for you relegist folks.Or maybe like a muslim, you never know how close he is to the black muslims?
I toast you women who have
Submitted on May 7th, 2008 by John 2000I toast you women who have fought so hard for and really believe in your candidate.
I toast the blacks who have stuck with her.
She is the better candidate.

The 2008 Election
Submitted on May 7th, 2008 by AnonymousThe primary rules were set up to help the Democratic Party Self Destruct. It wasn,t a race issue with me until 99% of Black Americans told Hillary, thanks for all your help but see you later. This fiasco should have been seen by the Party Stratigests long ago. I haven,t a clue why people hate the Clintons. They have done more to help all the people of this country than most Presidents. The majority of states that Obama has won really have little to do with winning the National Election. States that have open primeaires are wide open for screwing up an election. After it is all over and before I told you so, there is one last chance of keeping this party from self destructing. Al Gore must agree to run as the mate of Obama. That is the only chance of his winning the election in a country that has let the Civil War start all over again which it has been doing for the last 24 years.
ITS FOR THE AMERICAN WOMEN
Submitted on May 7th, 2008 by AnonymousHillary cannot quit !! I donated to her campaign like thousands of others so she could see it through.
This is a democracy where all votes count or is it all hypocrisy.
You fool yourself if you think that you or anyone like you has any political power whatsoever. Especially women. Hell, even your vote doesn’t count, unless they decide it does. The supreme court elected GWB and now FLA & MICH and independents in certain states won't be able to vote for the Democratic nominee.
Wonder who THEY already selected as our PREZ ??
The democratic process is working
Submitted on May 7th, 2008 by AnonymousWhy should anyone drop out of the primary unless they want to, run out of money, or are not getting many votes? There are millions of people who support Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama so why should anyone care what the "idiots" on Television who are expressing their OWN PERSONAL OPINIONS are saying? I think the people in every state should have a choice when they vote. I'm sick of the media and people who are only expressing their own personal opinions.
The Clintons Money can't buy our votes Bill and Her are over!

Might as well let it play
Submitted on May 7th, 2008 by John 2000Might as well let it play out at this point. It gives the remaining states the right to express their opinions. It allows some little time to see if any bomb shells are going to explode in the next 3-4 weeks. I would guess not, but this is the great campaign of Hope.
And really, early June would mark a good halfway point in this already seemingly endless process. There would only be 5 more months to go (rather than the 6 now remaining). aaaarrrggghh!
Gutsy move by McGovern, eh?
