"People that want to [fill
Submitted on April 18th, 2008 by kida"People that want to [fill in blank] are doing it anyway" isn't really a valid argument for making something legal. Burglary is illegal but people that want to burgle do it anyway.
"All that money is going straight overseas" doesn't really work either. Drug money and blood diamond money both go overseas, too, but that's no reason to legalize either of them.
Besides, the federal government making online gambling legal would interfere with the rights of those states in which gambling is illegal.
doing it anyway
Submitted on April 3rd, 2008 by AnonymousPeople that want to gamble online are doing it anyway. From what I can tell nothing really changed after they passed the law. All that money is going straight overseas, so the government is stupid to not allow legit US casinos to establish gambling sites in the US.
