A conservative is a man with 2 perfectly good legs, who, has never learned to walk forward!!!We can't live in the past!We need someone to take us out of this abyss. I am His age and, believe me, he's too old....
Jeyuhas,
I can relate to quitting drinking. I quit drinking after I fell out of a jeep at 60 MPH. I had been drinking at an officer's quarters and when he drove me back to base, he made a sharp turn at my quarters. I stood up about the time he made the sharp turn at 60 MPH. I was so drunk all I got was bruises and one heck of a hangover. But I did learn a lesson. Burning your brain out with alcohol is a bad idea.
There is no cure for alcoholism and there is always brain damage. The office of president is not the proper place for an alcoholic who can fall off of the wagon at any time and cause the death of millions of innocent people. Bush has shown poor judgment in many instances and does not deserve to be Commander-in-Chief.
According to his record he was a slacker when he was in the reserves.
McCain having senior moments as president could be a disaster for this country. He is already showing signs of inconsistency and unpredictibility.
Maybe you should rethink your assertions and place more importance on the presidency of the most powerful nation on earth.

Mr. Razor, I take hombrage with your blog. An alcoholic and parinoid president you call my commander-in-chief. I, also, am a recovering alcoholic, not proud of, but certainly not ashamed. What would you have called FDR and JFK? Crippled and perverted? I suppose Mr. Mccain is old and senile. When you tell your enemy that other POW's should go free first by virtue of their longevity in captivity, knowing the consequences for yourself I.E. 4 more years, daily beatings, and solidary confinment is not old and senile. It is, my friend, Integrity and Character. Something you need to learn about. Educate yourself and don't listen to the young and misinformed.
Well, we are on the brink of disaster now after eight years of an alcoholic and paranoid president; Electing an old and senile president should be the coup de grace for our quality of life, our world reputation and our national safety.
We seem to be on a course of self-destruct, flat learning curve and unrealistic expectations. We need to restructure our value system, rethink our justice system and rebuild our economy in order to survive. This was intended to be a country of moral principles, justice and equity.

McCain's age shouldn't matter if Obama's doesn't. Obama is almost too young and very inexperienced. Of course, there are those who are unfairly bigoted against older Americans.
I know of 80 year old people who could kick your butt. I know 70-80 year olds that run 2-3 miles a day. I know 70-80 year olds that pump enough iron to put a lot of 30 year olds to shame. And I know 40 year olds that act like they are 100 and are totally senile.
Don't let age determine whether someone is fit to do a job.
