From Ecole Brian School

I discover there are four types of invertebrates : Worms, Sponges, Molluscs, and Arthropods.

Worms :
"Worms have soft bodies and no skeleton at all. They have no arms or legs. Some have a mutitude of segments. Some examples of worms are: tape worms, earthworm, ring worm and flat worm."

Sponges :
"Sponges live in water and are attached to rocks.Sponges have no appendages. Their bodies are supported by a stiff skeleton. Their bodies are full of pores or openings.A example of a sponge is a sea sponge."

Molluscs :
"Most mollusks move using a muscular foot. They live inside a hard external shell and have soft, unsegmented bodies. For squid , the shell is inside of the body. Some examples of mollusks are: snails, clams ,oysters and squid."

Arthropods :
"Arthropods have an exoskeleton.A exoskeleton is that the skeleton is on the outside of their body. They have segmented bodies and jointed legs. All arthropods have 6 or more legs. They also have specialized mouth parts. They have compound eyes, a simple nervous systems and some have antennae. Some examples or arthropods are: spider, house fly, centipede and ants."

The little 'd' in the word arthropod is a dead giveaway, or tie-breaker.

And they tend to be alarming, pesky, yucky, and combative. No need for backbone to survive quite well, plus, they will still be here long after America is gone.

Thanks, Ecole Brian School!!
