Let's just pretend, that Hillary is a wonk who actually cares about America and the Democratic party. A stretch i know, but humor me.

So she sees, or thinks she sees Obama and the party heading for a fall in November, because Obama is ripe Swift-boat fruit. Ten percent of Americans already think he is a Muslim, which will almost offset the Black vote. So it's down to the honkies to decide the election. The same people, the Reagan Democrats that Obama has trouble connecting too. Nobody ever said that the Clintons could not read polls.

So what are her choices? Acquiesce to the zeitgeist and surrender, or fight it out to the end, and then appear to support Obama, the same way Bill Clinton supported Gore.

That way she keeps her image intact, and still gets to say, if there is a Republican Victory, "I told you so."

Nobody mentions the real prize here. The Bush Administration has broken so many laws, so blatantly, that if the Republicans lose this election to Clinton, a lot of Republicans will go to jail.

Obama and the Kennedy's might let it all slide, business as usual behind a screen of "change" which will mean new faces in the same old seats.

I expect Rove and his machine to move heaven and earth to keep out of jail, don't you? The Seigleman case alone would be the biggest scandal in American history, if it was not for all the other crooked stuff in the last eight years. You know, little stuff like this war thing in Iraq.
