New York, New York: A final thought on the Spitzer scandal
Posted 36 weeks 20 hours ago byA few months ago, the attorney general of my state -- Paul Morrison -- quit his job after being caught in an affair that suggested he'd abused his power in his previous job, as a county prosecutor.
Never heard of him, or the affair? I'm not surprised. Kansas ain't New York, after all.
Think about it: We've spent most of the week transfixed by the details of a scandal involving a politician whose duties have nothing to do with the lives of people in 49 of the 50 states.
