Strange bedfellows: Monica Lewinsky to endorse Hillary Clinton?
Posted 46 weeks 1 day ago byOh, my goodness, how many gags can we get out of a report (assuming it's confirmed) that the World's Most Famous Intern will endorse Hillary Clinton for president?
The lesser evil
Posted 48 weeks 3 hours ago byAnn Coulter says she'd rather vote for Hillary Clinton than John McCain. Rush Limbaugh has suggested he'd rather see the Democrats take the White House than a McCain win. James Dobson said he'd stay home rather than cast a vote in a contest between McCain and any opponent.
Such threats aren't confined to the GOP. Michelle Obama -- Barack's wife -- said she would "have to think" about supporting the Democratic ticket if Clinton wins the party's nomination.
What's happening to party unity? Should voters stay home rather than support the lesser of two evils?
Never mind Ann Coulter, here's Pat Buchanan
Posted 48 weeks 2 days ago byForget the Coulter silliness of the other day. This is really interesting. Pat Buchanan is the leading voice of the "Old Right" or the "paleo-conservatives" today. I disagree with many of Buchanan's positions, especially on the war on terrorism and free trade, but he makes a thoughtful, principled conservative case against John McCain.
And what is that case? Briefly:
Ann Coulter has lost her mind.
Posted 48 weeks 5 days ago byAnn's statement today that if McCain gets the nomination, she would vote for Clinton is truly bizarre. Surely she is only seeking the spotlight.
I grant you that even a life long Republican like myself will have to hold my nose as I cast my vote for McCain, I wouldn't vote for Clinton under any circumstance, even if her opponent were the devil himself.
