I don't predict a riot

The left-wing of the blogosphere is furious about some remarks by Rush Limbaugh the other day to the effect that he "dreams" of the Democratic National Convention beset with riots, a la Chicago in 1968. Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" has earned the radio talkshow host an additional 1 percent of notoriety and perhaps swayed the Democratic primary by roughly the same percentage toward Hillary Clinton.

Is Rush Limbaugh in legal trouble again?

Uh oh. The Associated Press reports: "Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is investigating whether any Republicans broke the law when they switched parties in the March 4 presidential primary to back the candidate that they perceived to be a weaker opponent for GOP nominee-in-waiting John McCain."

The lesser evil

Ann Coulter says she'd rather vote for Hillary Clinton than John McCain. Rush Limbaugh has suggested he'd rather see the Democrats take the White House than a McCain win. James Dobson said he'd stay home rather than cast a vote in a contest between McCain and any opponent.

Such threats aren't confined to the GOP. Michelle Obama -- Barack's wife -- said she would "have to think" about supporting the Democratic ticket if Clinton wins the party's nomination.

What's happening to party unity? Should voters stay home rather than support the lesser of two evils?
