" The World is entering a danger zone."

According to World Bank President's Robert Zoellick.

Ahead of the G8 summit,  taking place in Japan from July 7 to July 9, he is making an urgent appeal for G8 leaders and major oil producers " To act now to address the man made catastrophe" caused by soaring food and oil prices.

In a letter, to Japan's Prime Minister Fukuda and all the others G8 leaders, sent on July 1st,  Zoellick warned that : " We are entering a danger zone". Further he added that " the crisis has worsened since April."

Is the Bush Administration preparing an attack against Iran?

It is likely, at least according to Seymour Hersh from the New-Yorker magazine.

In his article, to be published the 7th of July, Hersh explains how the Bush Administration is in the process of stepping up its operations against Iran.

The covert operations have being going on for sometime, but last year the US  Congress agreed to a request from the Bush Administration to fund covert operations in Iran for an amount of 400 million dollars.

Foreign Affairs: Would Senator McCain be even worse than President Bush?

We know where Sen. McCain stand on the war in Iraq; He is claiming that " the surge is working " and doesn't want any time frame for the US pull out until the " enemy is defeated ", and Iraq can function as a " stable democracy ". He wants to stay until the " job is done " ( whatever that means?) and he mentioned, in a speech, a few month ago  that  the " US could be in Iraq for  another 100 years ".

John McCain's big "ugh" of a foreign policy speech

John McCain talked about foreign policy in Los Angeles today. The good news is, McCain is no Bush. The bad news is, McCain is McCain. Forgive my visceral reaction, then, but it can't be helped: Ugh.

Do we want a Reagan " Foot soldier" as Commander in Chief?

Nobody can contest that Senator Mc Cain is an honorable man.

However, his claim to have been a Reagan "Foot Soldier" could be more harmfull than beneficial for his campain.
