Scott McClellan has put the final nail in the coffin of the Bush Administration's " legacy".

In his new book, former Bush press Secretary Scott McClellan, takes a hard look at the logic of deception and spin that  took Americans to a war of choice in Iraq.

While some of us knew that from the get go, most Americans ( including Congress) bought the argument to go to war and the so call " evidence " ( cooked by the Bush Administration with the help of the CIA) of  the WMD , other tall tales of uranium cake from Niger and of course the pending doom of  " mushroom clouds ".

Do we want a Reagan " Foot soldier" as Commander in Chief?

Nobody can contest that Senator Mc Cain is an honorable man.

 However, his claim to have been a Reagan "Foot Soldier" could be more harmfull than beneficial for his campain.

The CIA should send novelists, musicians and artists to the Middle East. Covertly.

I'm probably going to trade in my liberal bona fides, here, but I'm serious: The CIA needs to return to the good old days of paying liberal artsy types to take their message abroad, just like it did during the Cold War.

Now, this might be happening right now. But I doubt it. Why?

* The liberal artsy types found out about it and got mad.

Martin Luther King Day at Langley

There has been ample commentary today on Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy. But I don't think anyone has made the link between Martin Luther King's message of equality and 21st century intelligence reform. As it turns out, there really isn't one. But Gabriel Schoenfeld at Commentary's "Connecting the Dots" blog shows how the cult of diversity is weakening U.S. intelligence by creating needless distractions:
