I have been hearing a lot of talk in the media that we have heard a lot of personal biographies on each of the Republican candidates, but the question remains, what are they are going to do for our country? Not too much has been shared on that front.  Why? Not a tough question.  How about this.. what's in it for me guys?  If you want to become President and VP I would like to know how you are truly going to 'Change' things.

I now know each member of each family.

I now know how smug they all can get when attacking each other.

As I shared last night, Sarah Palin got my attention and good for her.  Today is a new day and this came across my desk.  The video is hard to watch, but a must see.  Anyone aware of this stuff?  Truth or otherwise.  I would love an explanation if someone has one considering I am an animal activist and have a REAL problem with this.

Whether you like her or not, you have to admit that the Republican Pittball with lipstick Sarah Palin hit it out of the ball park tonight and made it a home run for her and John McCain. She gave Obama a whole new meaning on the word YES WE CAN!... and that was "there is a new sheriff in town" and YES WE CAN kick the smurk right off your smug face you presumptive community organizer dumbass!  Sarah Palin had all the makings of a true maverick in her own rite never clinching once showing no signs of fear.

What do we know about Sarah Palin?She's a popular governor with some mixed history of standing up to Alaskan Republicans and big oil.  In the next few days we will hear a lot about her "soccer mom" lifestyle and "Miss Congeniality" awards.  We'll hear about her DRILL DRILL DRILL mentality to solving gas prices and her staunch anti-choice beliefs.We all know that she  is under investigation for abuse of power and there are audio recordings to back it up. 

So the big night is here. Tonights Republican Convention Gov Palin will speak.  All ears and eyes will be on her as if EF Hutton is speaking. This is going to be a huge night, HUGE!  I am pretty excited about hearing what she has to say and actually, all jokes aside, feel like a mother hen watching that her young does not get eaten up alive by the big bad wolves.  I am sure she will present a polished speech and impress the nation.  So get your popcorn ready, and I will see you tonight, after the speech.  My question is how do you feel it will go for her tonight?

 I have posted more than a few blogs recently on Gov Palin which has really stirred the RBA pot.  We all know I am a Bell Ringer and it seems the bell is ringing quite loudly in my ears.  I am not going to defend where I stand on this topic except to say once again, she seems like a nice lady, she is lovely in a Jackie O sort of way, she is very intelligent, and has a light resume.  I feel strongly that to run for Office, whether it is President or VP, it would be nice if we could get someone as a nominee who has real qualifications.

As I watched the news this morning and saw a shot of McCain with Palin standing 'behind' him looking on (body language is everything,) I realized that even though she is the Gov of Alaska, and went toe to toe with some big old boy politicians while being Gov in a state where snow mobiling and fishing over ride everything else;  she is a far cry from a VP. When it comes to the office of VP, she is in way over her head.  She is dancing in a whole new barbie doll arena if you ask me and it is not going to be pretty.

Now that I have had some time to think, and posted some things on Palin here on RBA, I have to say I now understand why my inner gut was screaming out.  It was not because McCain made a good choice, it was because this stunt on his behalf brought this campaign circus to a whole new level.

We all know why McCain picked Palin for his VP which was to target women voters.  BUT, will it work? Here is one last article in TIME that I thought would be the cherry on top of the McCain/Palin ticket.  The botton line is this.  As I have shared, she is NO Hillary Clinton, and I mean that in EVERY way good/bad/or indifferent, but I like her and I am not sure why LOL.  She is pro life and supports NRA, I do am not and do not. The question is will women vote for her who were going to vote for Hillary to get a woman in office and put aside their political views?
