Only In America
Posted 19 weeks 5 days ago byOnly in America could we even think of following an inept, inexperienced, arrogant President such as George W. Bush with another inexperienced, arrogant, unknown with shady friends and, also possibly inept President such as Barrack Obama. Eight years ago many Americans thought "how did we allow this Bush boob to get this far, knowing full well that he wasn't presidential material?".
Muslim, Wright and other issues a camoflage?
Posted 22 weeks 2 days ago byI've been reading through replies on the "Is Obama a Secret Muslim" and, there are a couple of things that come to mind after you read a few. First, It causes me to wonder if all these diversions have actually served to allow Obama to continue his campaign without talking real issues, where he is weak.
Howard Dean needs to go.
Posted 22 weeks 3 days ago byIt is puzzling to me that there hasn't been more pressure on Howard Dean to resign, so that someone with leadership skills can step in and resolve this mess. I don't read a lot of blogs, but I haven't seen much about this issue.
Dick Morris on Fox News Not Fair and Balanced
Posted 22 weeks 4 days ago byI switch channels every time Dick Morris is a guest on Fox News. He obviously hates the Clintons, which is OK, but if Fox News was really "fair and balanced", they would tell their audience why such a hatred when they introduce him. They would tells us why Morris would rather see Bin Laden as our next President than Hillary Clinton, and he will say anything to take her down.
The Number 1 Question For Sen. Obama
Posted 23 weeks 4 hours ago byAfter watching Rev. Wright on his media blitz, it is apparent from some of his remarks that, he and the Senator do in fact communicate. As Sen. Obama tries to distance himself from his pastor, the big question still is, why have you and your family remained in the church for 20 years? (Although, it now appears Wright is trying to distance himself from Obama.)
Clinton Wins Over McCain, Obama Loses
Posted 23 weeks 2 days ago byThere is an ongoing fury of talk among democrats thinking that this bitter campaign is hurting the party come November. I think it's a concern only if Obama wins the nomination, because this fall McCain and Clinton will be a tossup on negatives, but the republicans already have so many talking points against Obama, they will bombard him unmercifully.
The Race Issue Issue
Posted 23 weeks 5 days ago byThe democratic campaign has revealed something about the race issue that I would like some comments on, as I may not understand. When African Americans in Philly vote Obama 90% and Clinton 10%, and at the same time White Americans vote Clinton 60% and Obama 40%, it makes it very apparent to me, who is voting issues and who's voting race. (Don't knitpick the numbers, they're approximations of polls).
Some Obama "What Ifs".
Posted 24 weeks 1 day ago byI've been musing about "what if" Obama does get the nomination, and somehow wins in November, what will his inauguration look like. Will the Rev. Wright be giving the opening and closing prayers? After all, at that point Obama's relationship with the pastor will be meanless. Will Louis Fahrakken and Bill Ayers be in the background as Obama invitees? Will there be an American flag in his lapel? Will his hand be on a bible?
ABC debate finally struck a whining Obama's nerve
Posted 24 weeks 4 days ago byFinally, a debate where Sen. Obama was on the short end of the stick. And, from the whining we've heard today he can't stand the heat. Do we really want a president who can't handle the tough questions? We've watched the media tear Sen. Clinton apart for months while giving Obama pass after pass on important issues. No whining from her and she's still standing.
How much more from Obama?
Posted 25 weeks 9 hours ago byOK, how many more of these surprises to we have to hear to realize Obama is not who he purports to be? The longer this goes on the more we're going to find out, and eventually it will be obvious he can't beat McCain in November. Instead of asking Clinton to bow out, pressure should be toward Obama stepping aside.
