racism

i am a african american women and i have a variety of friends. i dont think racism is fair because everybody is the same too me and we jus different colors. when i hear white american people calling black people niggas i get mad because some do it just too started stuff. i dont like when the white american girls try and be black and than in the same breathe put us down. i am feud up with american people becasue we our different ethincs but we all have one main thing in common WE AS AMERICANS PEOPLE WANT RESPECT INSTEAD OF BEING TREATED DIFFERENT BECAUSE THE COLOR OF OUR SKIN!

Racism

i am african american women who has a variety of friends. i dont look at people for the color of their skin but how they treat each other. the presidential race is being judge of the color of their skin and they should be judge on their opinions. even though i dont agree with racism i believe that people should act the race instead of others race. at the end of the day we are all americans and should be treated as such.

Racism in Post Racial America- Keesha's Opinion

I read the the article: " Racism in Post Racial America". I fully agree with the author. The word "post racial" is just a cover up. Its like accidently cutting off you pinkie finger and instead of going to the hospital you put a bandaid on it. We all know the bandaid won't work. I also fear that my race (African Americans) has fallen into the trap of the same stereo-types White American believe. I've never said this before but you are what you watch. Name twenty times that you have seen a successful African American on television that was acting? Did you know that BET is not run by our race?

Obama as President(Shane Grigsby)

I read the article about is America ready for a falied Obama candidacy. They were talking about people were voting for Obama because he is black. In some cases I do beleive that because I know that a lot of black people in America would love to have a black president. But I've also met some black people that want Hillary as president, mostly because of what Bill did when he was in office. They talk about racist white people might vote for Obama to prove that they are not racist.

Obama and The farrakhan Trap(Nomra Robles)

the article that i read was the "Obama and the farrakhan trap", it was mostly about farrakhan asking obama racist questions and obama not wanting to answer to his racist questions though i dont think its right for someone to ask questions like that. specially to someone like obama i think that farrakhan was being racist in my opinion.

Racism in a Post-Racial America (Courtney Parker)

I feel that this article hit a lot of points on the presidential electon and racism. In the article it talked about how they, as in white america dosen't view Obama as a man that is running for president but views him as black man that dosen't fit the profile to run for pesident. I think that it is a shame that people can look at him and be shocked that he graduated from Harvard and is a successful black man. I believe that if you have it in your heart to run for something and think that you are the best canidate for it then that's all that should matter not what race you are.

Fabiola Irigoyen rasiscm

this is my opinion this is the second that i send you. well Im going to phrase all that i wrote.

Pretty mush what it said was that when you think of a black person you think of someone of singing or being famous for a sport. well when this guy Obama did was something that really surprised them was that he was different. Thats how i know that people are being rases for the simple fact that they are afraid that there life will be different.

this is my smaller and phrased peragraph.

opinion: Racism in 'post-racial' America

People speak of equality but I believe that it's 'balance'.
We're all hear to help each other out. Where a certain ethnicity is weak in a certain area, another ethnicity who is strong in that area can help and so on; such as technology and so forth.

Barack Obama cannot change this post-racism or future for that matter. Racism is an 'idea' which is just the same as 'terrorism' (which makes the USA look pretty stupid to 'stop terrorism in Iraq'). You can't kill an idea or stop it, it's there and will always be there as long as humans posess a brain.

about racism by --->>>Mz.Rebekah<<<---

I read the article about racism, and i feel like as long as groups such as the KKK or the NAACP, there is never going to be a world without racism. I don't feel like white people and black people are ever going to look at ourselves as equal. and that's sad. But unfortunately we live in that society. Its just the way it is. It doesn't have to be that way, but not everyone is willing to take it in a different way .
