Wow , he can give a speech..

Anyone who strongly voices sentiment such as  'I want to Change Washington',  You and I together Can make a difference',  ' Believe America can still be great even In the face of adversity' is going to get a great response.  When a politician is a polished speaker it is effective.  Am I correct in saying the only political experience Obama has is 9 years..7 as a state and 2 as a US senator. Not to mention no military experience. ...Face it, Obama is very inexperienced to become President.

Hillary's swan speech...

As I listened to Hillary's speech Saturday, I wondered if anyone else walked away with similar thoughts. I expected more talk about party unity. Yes, she did say she would give Obama her full support. But little of the speech focused on an inital healing phase of a divided Democrat party. It was more about how 'she' had touched people's lives, had strong support from women, and came so close... over 18 million strong close.

Cheney needs some duct tape...

I cannot believe what a moron the Vice President was to make the statement about West Virginia being inbred. I can take a joke as well as the next person, but even people with a good sense of humor had to find it somewhat inappropriate. The ending "you can make statements like that when you aren't running for re-election" were the words of a hypocrite. That was when it stopped being funny. With the Republican Bush party moving out of Washington, there is no room to overlook error in an election trying to overcome the image of his administration.
