There was some question in an earlier blog here regarding a quote from Obama's Audacity opus where Obama wrote that he would stand by them (muslims) when the going got tough. Snopes and Factcheck have refuted the negative connotations drawn from the statement as being erroneous due to the contextual setting of the statement. I agreed to some possible extent but said that one has to look at the context within his presidency more than the book. I believe the following article provides more than enough evidence to support the point I was making.

It's late and I think they've stopped counting but it is looking seriously like incumbent Lisa Murkowski has most likely been defeated by JOE MILLER. Most establishment had considered this highly unlikely with some expecting a double digit Murkowski win.
