We wouldn't care about the Chinese getting the contract if we were drilling and refining our own oil. But, no, we are not allowed to do that. We also cannot use any of our coal reserves or Obama has promised to bankrupt the companies with punishing taxes and fees. How many jobs would drilling and refining produce? Why are we heading towards all green energy when we could develop technology that would extract the resources we have and create good paying jobs in the meantime. NO, we cannot do that, not in this country where the elites run things from their ivory towers.

There are some out there who believe the hyped up promise that the government will be handing out checks to help people pay their increased utility bills. I would urge you to rethink that as OBama and the rest of the "Cap and Trade" posse will promise anything to get that bill passed. There is no way they can send our welfare checks for energy to 20% of the population. That is the figure they themselves have given of the people who would need subsidies. Another promise that will not be kept.

Thanks ajomo for your comment. I don't care if people don't like what I say. I'm old enough now to be able to say what I please. I do so with the decades of experience I have had, using common sense and of course do so with a clear conscience.

The information is out there if one cares to indulge in it and make up their own mind. Problem today is that the radio jocks or commentators on TV tell people how to think and citizens have just forgotten how to think for themselves is all.

My understanding is that John Kerry put his nose into the negotiations of the American countries and tried to pur enviromental restrictions on it ( a mini cap and trade) and the Iraqi's would not go along and that negated the American companies. I have the details in another blog but I will have to look it up again. Another case of hamsstringing American business.

There is absolutely no way to verify that more Al Quida were enrolled. In fact, it is probably more plausible that there are less terrorists as we have killed many of their leaders.
