Posted 7 weeks 3 days ago byThere are five groups of politicians trying to get this bailout bill passed. I will list these groups in order of their relative power to get this bill passed:
1. President Bush (1a. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson)
2. House Democrats
3. Senate Democrats
4. Senate Republicans
5. House Republicans
The first four groups are all on board with the bailout. The House Republicans shouldn't be ranked, because they truly have no power. Yet they are the ones responsible for the bailout bill failing today?
I ask you, did Speaker Pelosi really want this bill passed? If so, her speech at the beginning of the day bashing Bush was a strange way to show it.

But she should not have a moderator.
She did slant her questions for a possitive Obama and the fact that she allowed Biden to go back on previous questions but stopped Palin from doing it.
Even though she did not look completely over the top biased in Obama's Camp she did make efforts to help Biden in the debate.

I just had a funny thought! Imagine Sarah Palin tossing that one out during the debate at an appropriate moment. What would that do to the liberal apparatchik?

They would spend endless hours trying to make a 'potatoe' of it. By the way, I watched the the 1988 Quayle/Bentson VP debate on CSPAN last night, which I thought Quayle won quite easily. I hope Sarah has seen it too.
Another thing I would love to see tonight is for Sarah to to bring up 'conflict of interest' and then directly apply it to the moderator as an example. I am sure you have heard of the moderator's new book scheduled for release with the inauguration - singing the praises of Obama! I would love to watch them squirm and burn.
I don't know ... should this be before or after the 'reverse transcendentalism' or better yet worked into the fabric as an example.

I just see that the black community denies truth even when it hits them square in the face.
Thus why I used the term. Does that mean all black engage in reverse Transcendentalism? No.
But the majority do which is sad. But I am referring specifically to Black theology and Politics in the use of the term.
But what is sad is that you have blacks going on TV daily and admit that the truth will not change their vote. That its more important to elect a black man than what the truth reveals. That is a problem!
The issue is that the black community and Obama is going out of their way to kill free speech and thought. That is the problem.
Obama just can not have anyone think or apply reason and truth to him. Because it would show what a fraud he really is. Thus you have a concerted effort to quell free thought and free speech.
That is the real meaning I was pushing and promoting.

I googled and the closest I could find is 'transcendentalism in reverse'. So, please don't get riled if I wax on this; but before I do, just know that I agree with the racism(racial) essence of your comment and appreciate the additional links.

So would 'reverse transcendentalism', simply stated, be a philosophy that requires human beings to deny (abandon) reason in their search for truth? Would it assume that an individual cannot arrive at the basic truths of life through spiritual insight even if he or she takes the time to think seriously about them?
In the limited black context you focus upon, would it be correct to modify the general definition offered above to read:?
"a doctrine that requires blacks to deny (abandon) reason in their search for power? Would it assume that an individual black cannot arrive at justice in life through individual open endeavor: that even if he or she makes the effort outside of the race and succeeds, it has little value?"

Submitted on September 30th, 2008 by PabloI noticed that there has been an increase in the hispanic community to reject Obama and the democrats in general.
The hispanics are getting tired of their community getting lots of promises but no actions.
In fact, Obama will not carry the Hispanic vote in his home state.
In Obama's own district, the Hispanics voted 97% for Clinton. The Hispanic community leaders all say that the hispanic community wil vote for McCain.
Yet all the media have placed these people as lock votes for Obama.
Many of the polls are calling more than 50% of the black community in their so called move to diversity. The truth is that the Black Community will vote better than 95% for Obama because they see it as a way to improve the Black community no matter how bad Obama is or no matter how corrupt or what ever.
Even the Mayor of Chicago who finally resigned had poll numbers of 62% for his reelection bid with 98% of the black community saying they would vote for him because he is black and understands the needs of the black community.
Thus race is an issue within the Democratic Party. The problem is that its a different kind of racism. We are seeing a reverse transcendentalism with the idea of Race only matters over substance or other important issues within the black community. So Obama is right that racism is happening within this election. The problem is that the racism is one which is a reverse type of racism where the black community will refuse to vote for a white candidate over a black one simply because of the color of skin.
The hispanic community gets it and they are not supporting Obama.
