Topic of the Day: JV Squad
Posted 6 weeks 2 days ago byTeam McCain, flustered that the national press corps is devoting its attention to Obama in Europe, issued reporters covering him on Tuesday special press passes, reading: "McCain Press Corps: JV Squad: Left behind to report in America."
How unfair is the press' coverage of Obama?

Darn Pablo. Maybe you're
Submitted on July 27th, 2008 by John 2000Darn Pablo. Maybe you're more right than you know about the flying pig imagery! I was thinking it was more demonic, but open the image link below and squint ever so slightly. It is a flying pig coming straight out, snout and all.

Putting a pig with wings
Submitted on July 26th, 2008 by PabloPutting a pig with wings on it then shooting it through the air is exactly how the Obama Campaign has been working to prove that pigs can fly.
Its this kind of deception that the media who takes a picture of the pig in the air and all proclaim the pig flies but will not report on the glue, and props which put the wings on the pig and the catapult which was used to toss the pig through the air is ignored.
To match this up to Obama, the media also burned and destroyed all evidence to the the items before the event much like how Obama and his people have been erasing his past and changing it to be what they want it to be.
After all, you can no longer find much of anything about Obama on the net that is original. What you find now is copies to the originals because the originals have been removed.
OK
Submitted on July 26th, 2008 by Skye RiversSo maybe the puppet master has one hand on the Obama strings and the other on the media button. How unfair you ask has the press coverage been? Well if pigs could fly there would lie your answer.
LOL
Submitted on July 25th, 2008 by John 2000I expect to cast the deciding vote in this election myself, but 'they' never poll me. THAT is their mistake.
Koolmom
Submitted on July 25th, 2008 by PabloObama would most likely be behind by 12 to 20 points if the media really reported the facts and the truth.
If the American people actually wakes up from the nightmarish media zeal for Obama and see Obama for what he is and I mean who he really is, then McCain should win by some 30+%.
But the media is working like mad and breaking every rule and actually slobbering so heavily for Obama that its near impossible to know what the real poll number are.
I do not think the polls are correct. After all, Obama had between an 8 and 15% lead on Clinton and lost to Clinton by as much as 11% in some states.
That is a collective error by the media of as much as 26% off of the reality of the actual votes.
Obama was picked to win for example by 14% in New Hampshire. Clinton won it by 2%. In national poll adjustments which take poll amounts verses actual vote amounts you get the disparity I am refering to.
I think that the country is literally split something like 48% to 48%.
I think that this election will look like Bush Gore and you will see one or more states being extra ordinary close.
I just left this comment
Submitted on July 25th, 2008 by koolmom21I just left this comment on another blog but it is something for this blog also.
I heard today that Sen. Obama was expected to be in the double digit lead at this time in the race. He is neck to neck with Sen. McCain now and Sen. McCain is surpassing Sen. Obama in some states.
If you read, watch and hear the media describe the campaign of 2008, it appears to be the most one-sided contest since Reagan trounced Mondale in 1984. McCain always comes across as borderline senile, lethargic, and pitiful while Obama is awash in media heroics and theatrical flourishes.
But the race is still basically tied according to the polls.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news...
I wonder how close this race would really be if the media did not tell people what they should think. I think that Sen. McCain would be in the double digits.
I agree the media is one
Submitted on July 25th, 2008 by tomcatin4uI agree the media is one sided, an has already made it's choice, If anything it's the WHITE GUY being discriminated against by the Media.
I'm tottaly against the media' push for Obamma. He has spent more time on VACATION then he has in office.
If he dose get in look for the out to lunch sign to be hung on front door. But he will not get my vote.
I got a spot on my lower right cheek Owata can kiss.
Propaganda Mills for the Elite
Submitted on July 25th, 2008 by John 2000You just have to chuckle now over all of the trumped up noise generated during that fabricated primary gap that could be entitled 'Waiting For PAdot' ... especially the drivel over the preselected One's 'elitist' comments were captured accidentally by a little liberal blogger in San Francisco. Oh, the outrage and noise that oozed from the Elite media in the first line of defense of the elite. They do their jobs very well, even those that do not recognize the fact, or probably more especially those. Mainline propaganda is a top down network that is highly cellularized and competitive down below. It creates the din and the haze between the real facts much like a war on/of terror mimics.
Just the very noise about unfair press coverage provides the additional cover of media wars and accusations and (LOL) media introspection.
This is not going to go away. It is worldwide. Oh, let's come up with some 'Media Fairness Doctrine' or some nonsense like that. HelloooooO.
Gotta love those open mics.
I think I'll go listen to 'The Wall' and watch the original video. Later.
I would agree if
Submitted on July 25th, 2008 by PabloI would agree if that the media was crowing only about Obama speeches.
However, they are not Obama's speeches but lines taken from past presidents and other politicians that were popular and what the people loved.
Obama has never said anything original!
That would be news if he did.
Wait there was something new that only Obama can lay claim to. Sadly its not something written or spoken. Its the fist bump!
ALL TALK
Submitted on July 25th, 2008 by janmbI'm tired of the fawning, one-sided coverage Barack Obama from the mainstream media. Why bother to have an election at all----let the MEDIA chose our leaders and be done with it.
When you hear some of the OBAMAmites crow over his accomplishments its all about his speeches.
Hit it right on
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by DCook36Hamilton, You hit the nail on the head it is disgrace and whats even more disgraceful is the way the pepole are just eating it up. So Sad to say the least.
Pablo ...
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by John 2000Yes I know and agree. Sometimes I cannot avoid being overwhelmed by expressions intended to be sarcastic. Just, always know with Obama, it would be indeed a most rare occasion were I to write anything positive about him, his supporters, or his aspirations.
John
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by PabloIts one thing for Obama to go overseas on the "fact finding mission"
Its totally different for Obama to go overseas to trash America, and ignore the realities overseas to try and prove that his positions prior to going overseas was correct.
What sickens me the most, is that Obama trashes America in Europe and the media says nothing! Obama holds a Hilter style rally that JFK, or Regan never did to a crowd that is totally blinded by sheer media hype like Hitler had.
Hitler deceived the world and the people. Obama is doing the exact same thing and Obama is trying to mobilize the world in his favor just like Hitler, Lenon and Stalin did before their evil was exposed.
To have Obama be president would be the greatest mistake America could ever make! Not because Obama is a liar and has no real policies or positions on anything. Because from week to week and depending on who is before him, Obama changes his tune. I gave up trying to figure out where Obama is on any given position. He changes minute by minute.
Yes Rom
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by John 2000We are now really beginning to feel for the first time in our adult lives that Yes, we Really Can!!
Oh, what have we been missing?
We felt the earth change under our feet.
Hamilton...
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by rom12921You seem a little uncomfortable about the media coverage of Presidential candidates.
I'm perplexed by your bias against Senator Obama's effort to communicate with the free world to set the stage for cooperation during his Presidency. Ultimately he will change the U.S. image abroad and bring more peaceful relations with our allies and enemies. The media is making an honest effort to cover these once-in-a-lifetime events.
Are you not aware how fortunate you are to be part of the Obama campaign and rise to the Presidency?
Biased Media Reporting and Hubris
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by AnonymousNever, and I mean never, have I seen so much hubris on the part of a presidential candidate. He decided to speak close to the Brandenberg Gate, because well he is after all following in the footsteps of President's Reagan and Kennedy. Geesh what an arrogant a**! I mean some humility please! And the media? The go right along because they just love the guy and refuse to hide that fact.
Veni, vidi, vichi

What's McBoohoo crying about
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by John 2000What's McBoohoo crying about now? A few weeks ago he was crying that Mr Inexperienced wasn't going overseas, like it was some sort of gotcha thing. So now it is McEggMuffin on face. He earned this burn. He already knew what the bias of the 'press on the ground' was.
"McCain Press Corps: JV Squad: Left behind to report in America." Oh yeah, that works for sophomores.
Do I sound like an Obamabot? [ hint : I am not ]
Look, everybody knows that the BIG press has been very fair to Mr Obama, so there goes the the unfairness cry spinning out the window. Even the Obama campaign will admit to the fairness.
McJV is not expecting Varsity level coverage, is he? Hell, his opinions cannot even get published in NY Times.
Then there is the FoxNews that the Obamaphiles hate so much. They are just playing the 'bad cop' role. They are the minesweepers clearing the way. Obama always gets his most solid advice from that group.
The Messiah!
Submitted on July 24th, 2008 by HamiltonIt’s has nothing to do with being unfair, it is a vivid betrayal of trust with the American people. Never has a presidential candidate been openly promoted by all the major media outlets. Unbiased professionalism has been abandoned for opinion journalism and rooting passionately for a radical liberal socialist to rule a country once governed by the people. Propaganda disguised as news, or more ludicrous, reporting the news is American media, much like Germany under Hitler and China under Moa.
It’s not unfair, it’s a disgrace!
