Topic of the Day: Is McCain too old?

McCain will turn 72 the day after Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) accepts his party’s nomination for president at the age of 47, calling new attention to the sensitive issue of McCain’s advanced age three days before the start of his own convention.
How old is too old? How do you answer that question?

My grandmother was 93 when she died. She was as sharp as a tack until 4 months before her death.
Sen McCain brain seems to be healthy.
With age comes wisdom. I know myself that as I age my eyes seem to be more open and more focus on others and not just on my small private world.

Submitted on July 22nd, 2008 by John 2000Mr 46 year old has spent half those years being nurtured by a good reverend which is four times the amount of time that the ancient one was kicking back as a POW. So a younger man CAN easily have greater experience.
What about ALL of the great time as a community organizer and all of the great court cases and all of the countless pieces of legislation of the young man!
Age must indeed be overrated.
I'll go for Obama's experience any day.
