ARE WE A NATION OF WHINERS AS PHIL GRAMM PROFESSED?
Posted 5 weeks 5 days ago byPhil Gramm co chairman of McCains campaign stepped down for his comments last week stating "we have sort of beocome a nation of whiners" and his comments were anything but enthusiastic to anyone’s campaign. Without going into the crux of the story behind Gramm, I feel the bigger question is really, do you agree that are we a nation of whiners?
I don't mean to whine but honestly....
What do we have to be inspired about?
We have two Presumptive Dumbasses running for President that I don’t see much hope or change with.
Our economy is at an all time low, many Americans are out of work and the numbers are rising daily.
The housing market is the worst nightmare in history and there is no end in sight, at least for another year.
We are in a war with Iraq and now it is not looking good in Afghanistan with now a threat to draft our sons and daughters.
Gas has become intolerable for many Americans.
Tossed in a pinch of Global Warming.
Should I continue to whine because I am sure I can google up a plenty more flavors of American Merlot?
The bottom line is this. We have no one to blame but ourselves for the way things are. We bought the horse and pony shows called put me in office and I will show you the promise land. You can’t have it both ways. Do something about it or forever hold your whine! Whining will only get you politically drunk.
So here here Phil Gramm for the balls to speak truth. Whiners..... Yes, Indeed!

Do not tell people they are bubas.
One also say sheep had it good
Be fleeced by fleecing doodes.
Richest theafs got it too good,
So good they pay randsom, shrud,
To oily countries and to Russian bear,
And Gramm just mock, but do not care.
Gramm is right
Submitted on July 21st, 2008 by rom12921People in this country are the wealthiest the world's ever seen. Americans don't know how good they have it.
The U.S. economy is strong (GDP growth since 2001), unemployment is low, more people own houses than ever, gas prices have increased 4.5-5% over the last 30 years, the same as inflation and taxes and interest rates are relatively low.
Yep whiners.
sure we are a nation of cry baby spoiled whiners
Submitted on July 21st, 2008 by John 2000but the people in general whine far less than the politicians and media. If we weren't so spoiled we'd be chasing them down in the streets and strangling them, and no one would whine about that except them.
whiners yes
Submitted on July 20th, 2008 by REEDDARRELLYes we are whiners, but I believe for different things, and reason's.As it took me three years of whining to get my social security disability it took over a year to get aid from the DHS because I'm a man.I lost a good job because of my heart problems and needed help desperatly. If not for a wonderful woman(not a wife)I would be one of these old vietnam vet's you hear about dying under some bridge. But yes we are whiners unless your one rich SOB and don't need any help. What I mean by whining is,a means to be heard such as the AARP,NAACP,and so on when we band together for a cause we're considered as whiners.
Who, if not Phil Gramm, would know it best?
Submitted on July 20th, 2008 by KonstantinSince I came to USA, and long before,
War, started by Russia, imperio"vor",
Lead by Jesuit Casey, homo-Hoover,
Not without USA Treasury approver.
Once they broke to my apartment,
In Treasury name, checked frames
With photos on a wall, department
Of Phil Gramm, to fame USA names,
Steals even arts, as USA demands.
Now Gramm calling people whiners,
As victims of USA Piramids's insiders
And sacked by Massono-ellito-eaters
That destroying USA as plagiarizators.
Konstantin.
Yes we are
Submitted on July 19th, 2008 by PabloI agree that this nation is full of whiners.
No everyone is but there are a vast majority of them out there.
The current idiocy of the financial bailouts is a prime example.
People are expecting the government to bail them out of poor financial choices and for taking a hit in the stock market.
The government should not bail out any bank or financial institution.
Let them fail for the bad choices that they made. Fix the problem and give a new company a loan to take over the failed companies with new blood and a better understanding of what responsibility is about!
Instead of giving Fanny or Freddy Mac a free pass for their screwups, why not give me or anyone else who has been a successful business owner the same kind of loan to buy out the failed bank or financial institution?
That is what happened after the S&L crisis. The government only covered the FDIC part and then sold off most of the failed S&Ls to either other banks or to private groups who turned those failed S&Ls into credit unions or new banks.
The problem is not a credit crisis or anything that the liars are saying.
Its just a way for the rich to get richer by making mom and pop hometown USA pick up the tab on illegal schemes and poor business choices in a bad market that these same said banks and financial institutions created in the first place.
So yea, We are a nation of whiners because people expect the government to bail them out of their poor choices and bad business deals rather than having to buck up and pay the piper for their own screw ups.
So Yea, this nations is a nation of mostly whiners.
To those who were targets of these schemes and were lied to and other things, then no. They should expect the government to make it right and make those loans null and void and force the current holders of the notes to redo those notes properly!
The people need a proactive government that helps people who are working to better themselves rather than a government which promises freebees and does nothing but drive american economy into the ground!
