Close Encounters.
Posted 7 weeks 3 days ago byI've been facinated by the theory of alien life forms visiting this planet ever since I was a little boy. Even as a child I knew that, if true, the existence of these entities would humble all previous discoveries in human history. It blows the mind.
I enjoyed reading the surveys conducted by Scripps Howard regarding peoples attitude toward this possibility. For many years I understood and agreed with the governments cover-up of UFO evidence. One need only to read about the human reaction to Orson Well's radio broadcast of "War Of The Worlds" to understand the governments fear of a breakdown in social order. I'm still not sure the unwashed masses are ready to accept what the government actually knows, but I digress.
Aliens exist.
The deal closer for me came with the advent of digital photography. The technology seems to have removed the "cloaking" process these entities have employed... probably for our own sanity. The photographic evidence within the last decade is nothing less than compelling.
Unfortunately, the scientific community is so consumed with shoving global warming and Darwinism down our throat, they refuse to examine an issue that could make carbon emissions and the DNA strains of chimps look like a game of checkers. When weighing the evidence, I would submit that UFO's have built a stronger case than Al Gore and my uncle the monkey combined.
Then again, maybe Al Gore is an Alien.

"I would submit that UFO's have built a stronger case than Al Gore and my uncle the monkey combined"
SKYE NOW "hole into the universe and our Earth breaks down." OK, maybe toungue-in-cheek instead of fatalistic. So hard to pick up on emotion in typing.
Right now... sounds good since I can't change yesterday and don't know what tomorrow holds. I have a Mayan replica calendar, maybe they were tired of counting by 2012
Thanks Rom
Submitted on July 21st, 2008 by Skye RiversI do believe in UFO's "from my experience" which could be different than yours. We all live within our own universes and have our own set of colors to draw from. I don't believe so much in fatalism, but the truth is our planet is in need of some tender loving care. Whether or not this has been an issue for over hundreds of years, the point is NOW is the time to do something about it. I am very concerned about the Mayan calendar, but I am not having sleepless nights over it.
Why would GOD stop here is a great question. Why would GOD do many things. I am going to draw up a blog this evening with what I found to be some of those answers and see where it goes from there. It will be fascinating to say the least.
Thank you for your viewpoint and pondering. It has me inspired to do something fun and interesting here. :))) Back to moving hell... see ya later tonight ;)
Ambiguity OK
Submitted on July 21st, 2008 by rom12921We don't know. I am OK with not knowing.
What does influence your opinion is your worldview (how we got here, where we are now, where we're going).
Skye's view supports the belief in UFO's and a touch of environmental fatalism.
My worldview would not support he idea of life outside Earth, still waiting for the Larry King interview with the Alien.
Curious about Hamilton question

Aliens, Global Warming, Al Gore.. O MY!
Submitted on July 17th, 2008 by Skye RiversCharles,
Interesting topic and close to my heart as I use to be an owner of a metaphysical retail gallery in Northern California. UFOS' and Aliens were right there with the Faeryes and Angels. From my experience and what I have come across, I do believe that Aliens and UFO's do exist. I had spoken to many people on this topic and also cloaking and believe the above to be true on all counts.
If the public knew for a fact, what the government knows to be true, mass hysteria would take place. As far as Global Warming, we can call it what we want as I have shared many times and even call Al Gore the Captian at the Helm of Global Warming if that makes some feel more comfortable, but the bottom line on this is... this has been evolving for years now, and we are NOW at the point we NEED to do something about it.
Just how much garbage can Mother Earth hold? Just how much emissions from cars and so on can we breath over the years before it gets out of control?
Just how much drilling can we continue before we drill ourselves a hole into the universe and our Earth breaks down.
Just how much of how much is left.
So many spend so much time arguing who came first the chicken or the egg of global warming.. How about if we just agree we have a problem and work on a solution?
Aliens you say... well, I can post much on this topic if anyone is interested. Some stuff more far fetched than others, but fascinating to say the least. Let's see where this thread continues and the possibilities...
Thank you Charles for a great blog! : Skye
unwashed masses?
Submitted on July 17th, 2008 by John 2000goodness, Charles! LOL
Could you point me to some good examples of this cloaking that you mention? I do know the government(s) are making progress in those areas of technology. I remember there being numerous references to the technology related to 9/11 with helicopters etc. MEME technology is also moving fast-track in military apps.
One of my greatest concerns relating to this topic is for the use of human technology to pass itself as alien not too far in the future. For some reason I have greater concern with this than I do for actual aliens who/which I think have been here for a long time.
[chuckle] I guess we all have to go see Mulder in Scully in the new movie in a couple of weeks to catch the latest.
To be honest with you Charles, I believe that what we call aliens have influenced human history at numerous key points and events.
This could all lead to a very long discussion ...
