OBAMA LECTURES ON PATRIOTISM; CLARK DEVALUES MCCAIN'S SERVICES
Posted 8 weeks 6 hours ago byOK, I hear you all saying, is she kidding? Let me say this : I AM NOT a Rush Limbaugh fan, BUT, I am a radio junkie being an on air kind of gal, so I sometimes will go past the messenger and right to the message... In this ONE case where Rush is concerned, I found this show he did on June 30, 2008 going on about Obama's Lecture on Patriotism; Clark Devalues McCains Service. Thought it might be an interesting check out. I found it amusing as hell.

Handsome, well-educated, and ambitious. He can hold my attention for about two minutes before I catch myself rejecting everything about him. Often he starts out impressively enough and about the moment you find a touch of 'okay', blam, he is off the track and careening off to who knows where. I think he is a tin man with a tin ear. I found an interesting book commentary in Slate Magazine regarding Clark and his book 'Waging Modern War'. Though I have not read it, nor would I even consider reading it, I think the article contains much that I would have to agree with. Considering his long association with Albright who is already one of the leading advisors in Osama's now co-opted candidacy, I think Barack would be doing himself a favor by marginalizing and then eliminating Clark from his campaign.
The article : http://www.slate.com/id/2000278/entry/10...
McCain's books on the other hand are generally quite self-effacing and humble. Of course, he is very proud of both his father and his grandfather whose actual military careers were more glowing than his own. I think it is mostly for right reasons that he has chosen not to detail in print a number of personal relationship issues from his past after returning from the Viet Nam ordeal.
RUSH & RIGHT WING RADIO
Submitted on July 3rd, 2008 by janmbHold your nose and listen to Right Wing Hate Radio once a month or so, to REMIND you of how much these people hate you, your children, your beliefs, and how dangerous they potentially are. The poster child of the Clueless Need To Hate is perhaps Rush Limbaugh.
Of course NPR did a job on HILLARY too (except for Thom Hartmann.)
But he isn't running for PREZ.
How does this country come away with 8 years of an inept president and now going for more of the same.

While on the topic of serving our country, hope all have a great 4th of July, and if so inclined, please keep our past and present military personnel in mind, without their sacrifice we have nothing.
I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS OBAMA CRAP...
Submitted on July 3rd, 2008 by Skye RiversLOOKING TO FIND A WAY to ensure McCains Presidency. Anyone got a clue? Out of the two lessor of evils, I would vote McCain in and take my changes. I don't trust Obama on any level. I don't think he is good for our country. I think this country is in big trouble. I know, I'm ranting again, but truly, sick and tired of hearing about Obama... McNasty McCain may not be all that and a bag of chips, but at least you know what you are dealing with. I would like to find out who actually voted these guys into the nomination process and punch them both in the nose.
PS ANON........... heartfelt and thank you for serving our country.
Barach Obama and his Airforce buddies remarks.
Submitted on July 3rd, 2008 by AnonymousI would like to provide a personal experience concerning John Mc Cain's and his selfless dedication.
I was stationed on the U.S.S. Forrestal and during our deployment off the coast of Vietnam,a fire on the flight deck occured. The fire was caused by the bombs cross decked to us by a departing carier group which were old and unstable.
John was attached to the airgroup that was departing and voluntered to be detached to our airgroup extending his tour as a A6A Intruder fighter pilot.
About 85 navy personnel were killed during the fire
and 50 more died of wounds sustained fighting the fire or were trapt aboard the Forrestal.
I remember seeing John Mc Cain whith blood stains all over his flight suit being lifted off in a litter and brought up to the area that wounded and dead that had been designated as seriously wounded.I also remember him assisting in the efforts to assist those more seriously injured.
Later that afternoon John was transfered to another carrier assigned to our battle group. That same day he was launched in a A6A-Intruder to provide close air to ground support for our troops in Vietnam.
I don't know if the wounds he sustained that day limited his prowesness, but I can testify that John Mc Cain is one hell of a attack fighter pilot and American, despite the garbage that Airforce former general spouted about John.
Barach's comment that the generals coments were not artfull dosen't make it for anyone who knows John Mc Cain.
HA HA HA......
Submitted on July 3rd, 2008 by Skye RiversNOT! BUT, like I said, I learned a long time ago, that it's the message and not always the messenger that is important... I found it amusing and wanted to share it. As a matter of fact, I am finding this entire Presidental campaign amusing at this point. How can anyone take either one of these guys seriously? Obama and McCain....... they are both chasing tigers by the tail...
