Submitted on June 30th, 2008 by PabloThat was a lie that I missed. I will add it!
Perhaps I should look through what Obama actually has voted on to see more!
So?
Submitted on June 30th, 2008 by HamiltonLet me get this straight, there are no cuts going to happen and you are concerned about John McCain not voting.
Well, I guess this post is pretty much void, correct?
Do you happen to know anything about Public Law 110-181?
I guess not, this is a law concerned with taking care of Iraq War veterans. Barack Hussein Obama uses his sponsorship and support of this law to prove he supports the troops. He makes this pledge in his first general election campaign spot entitled “I love this Country”. Pretty cool right; problems is there was six senators that did not vote for this law. Just six, one of which is Barack Hussein Obama; that would be okay if he was not, once again, lying to the American public.
Back to your point, John McCain doesn’t want to care for and support our older Americans, come on brother, he’s older than most of them; that’s like saying he doesn’t support our soldiers…just doesn’t float.
Maybe Barack was outback burning one during this particular vote.

Retired Seniors
Submitted on June 30th, 2008 by rom12921My comments are relevent to the present with regard to Seniors.
Apparently you don't care about the facts either. Your blog is propaganda
Thanks Skye
Submitted on June 30th, 2008 by rom12921Those are campaign promises from 2000 election and I do remember the "lock box" speech.
What I am referring to is the Senate vote to make Social Security benefits taxable. In late 1993 the Senate voted 49 for to 49 opposed to taxing Social Security benefits. Al Gore, as Vice President, cast the deciding vote to make benefits taxable retroactively (93); effectively cutting benefits.
Less than six years later his campaign speeches included the language you see in the 2000 campaign.

The problem is that the Republicans are not in control of Congress! If you are upset you need to go to San Francisco and visit Pelosi and then pay a visit to Reed.
They are Democrats who are in charge control what legislation is allowed to be voted on and so forth. There is another package that is burried!
As for McCain not voting, Your right, He should have done that. But its not like Obama who has been missing in Action for the vast majority of his first term! Meaning that Obama has not been in office 2 years but has spent less than 7 months actually in Washington and play acting like he normally does as a senator.
Gore is not in office an not

BS
Submitted on June 30th, 2008 by rom12921It is not the government's responsibility to care for anyone. Freedom means freedom to succeed or fail.
If you are so concerned, then why not talk about how Al Gore cut Social Security benefits?
