Posted 8 weeks 4 days ago byI'm an opionated person I live for lively debates on politics,Illegal Aliens,Communist china,Barack Obama,Hillary Clinton,oil prices,and last but not least religion.But I feel if you can't do anything but a cheap shot remark like John 2000 does than shut up!!!.I'm new to this blogging and I understood it to be discussions,about our differences,and like thinking maybe I misunderstood,did I ? Oh by the way I've read some things John2000 has commented on and I agree with him on most things when he's commenting,he's actually a thoughtful sounding person.

TAKE A LAP!
Submitted on June 30th, 2008 by rom12921I coached a little league (9/10 yr old) team in the spring. I strongly encouraged them to say positive things to their team and be respectful of the opposing team, umpires, etc.
The incentive to remind them to keep "shut up". "you suck", "go back to T-ball" to themselves was TAKE A LAP!. Not necessarily as punishment, but as a time out to think about baseball and how they can encourage their teammates. It was successful.

Submitted on June 29th, 2008 by John 2000I knew I was baiting you a bit by a bit of advocacy sort of approach one hears a lot underlying the war going on in the southwest. I was trying to point out that they have some arguable points (outside of law) in their premises. Arguments that can be tough to counter under current educational and media conditions. The 'boatboy' was shameless, and I did feel wicked for it ... sorry.

Is it the one you responded to my devil's advocate (and somewhat offbeat) challenge to you relating to illegal immigration : where you then called me ' an illegal immigrant ' and told me to get 'back to Mexico'?
