Whew, What a Relief

You can expect the price of gas to go down to a dollar a gallon soon. Not only will the offshore oil drilling make us energy independent, but just as soon as that Iraqi oil gets on the market, they will pay you to take it off their hands. Guaranteed.

 

Everybody in the oil business is so optimistic that ExxonMobile is selling off all it's gas stations. Probably because gas will be so cheap that it won't be worth selling.

 

The Wall Street Journal Hints that Russia's Gazprom will be in the market for increased distribution networks. Ha Ha How silly. Those dumb Russians think that the price will double again.

Silly boys,. we have professional oil men running our government. They know what they are doing. They are smarter than you and me. They have degrees from Yale and Harvard. So nothing to see here.. Move along. Go out and buy stuff, everything is fine.

What a JOKE. Is our environment not F*cked up enough already! Off shore drilling will only be a band-aid to our oil problems! The only fix is a better car running on a cleaner type of energy. We need to end or dependence on oil PERIOD! Even if it would temporarily lower gas/oil prices, what are our children going to do! We fix the problem for us to just leave it for our children!

I would prefer not be sold to the Russians but, at the rate we are going, either way will mean living in a socialist nation here before too long.

Maybe that is the Change Obama is talking about.

Gov Palin is not at all happy with the Federal Government intruding into Alaska with the melting polar bears and walrus' and everything else that isn't really happening. Then add the wildlife like the caribou (that actually thrive in the vicinity of a pipeline) that are the reason given that Washington won't let us build oil fields and another pipeline.

I could go on and on about Alaska. I love that place...I just wish the government would stay out of it and leave us alone.

It's a well known secret that Russia wants to buy Seward's Folly back now that the revolution has come and gone. We have only really held the pristine land in trust for them for less than 100 years. We could get a very good price now. They could develop the energy for us, sort of like they develop the energy for Europe.

But first, we have to continue to be very stupid even longer so that we can charge Russia more for Alaska so that we can pump that money into saving everything including the planet, plus give tax rebates to compensate everybody for living expenses ... including illegal aliens and friends and foes overseas.

If that's not enough, we can sell slant drilling rights to all of our off shore reserves to foreign interests ...

Then, we the people won't have to feel so, umm, guilty about whatever.
