What a great man.. This move will expose the Democommies as America haters, solve the oil crisis, win the election for McCain and save the Bush Legacy for the entire span of history. Oh yah, and reverse Global warming, stop Evolution in its tracks, and make all the Mexicans head for home within an an hour after passage.

I expect bin Laden to surrender even before the bill is passed.

What a wonderful day.

Now all we have to do is just wait ten years for the oil to actually start flowing. Good thing i, good republican that i am, have that 10,000 gallon tank of high test in the back yard for just such an eventuality.

That all of 'our' recent presidents and final candidates selected for us have been so in with CFR and all have such heavy Harvard/Yale ties? ... going back to BushI. Democrat president/Republican president, what's the difference? They all play their role in the same game.

Remember how hard it was for BushI to leach onto Reagan ticket?

Remember BushI leaking into Nixon White House at the time of Watergate?

Remember BushII looking into the eyes of dear goodly Mr Putin?

Both Clintons, both Bushes, and both Obamas are part of this long continuum ... this long strategy ...

It seems unlikely that an "oil man" looking to "line his own pockets" (as comrade Wishnev and BullChev claim) would stop drilling.

John 2000 is most likely correct. Appears Wish is caught in the same game

not too shocking. I thought it was ANWR only but I will check that out too. I remember voting for Perot when BushI ran for a second term.

It was Clinton who in 1995 vetoed a bill that passed to allow drilling, so a republican congress at that time wanted to end the moratoriums.

Wear it out, use it up, drain it dry. Screw posterity, what has it ever done for me?

God forbid we should ever plan farther ahead than the next quarter.

Anybody ever think that that oil that is supposed to be there could be useful in a hundred years for chemical feed stock?

Nah.. That would be thinking like a real conservationist, not a Neo-Theo-con.

... are very worried about this. But they should hold out until $6.00 in August and more airlines and more trucking go belly up. They should continue to show leadership and judgment and as Mercy would say 'some backbone' ... shoot for $8.00 by October. yeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!
