Aren't there approximately 310 million Americans? Isn't the budget to fund the Federal Government at $3.1 trillion? Let's do the math.
310,000,000 / 3,100,000,000,000 = $10,000 per American
A family of 4 needs to come up with $40,000 to keep the Federal government in business, not including state,county, city, school districts, transit authorities, ports and community colleges/other. After the $3.1trillion budget we still have a multiple-billion dollar Federal deficit, national debt in the trillions and Social Security and Medicare $9 trillion short.
This "government efficiency" heavily influences my opinions about candidates and policy. For this reason I support lower taxes, less government intervention and why I do not support ________ (fill in the blank) for President. The pervasive perturbing problematic pompous attitude- "the government should" is, to me, THE ISSUE a political candidate should be dealing with.

One might say that average American family of 3 own a million in assets,
thus USA cost 100 trillions of dollars.
I don't know.
But what about the rest - like Industrial, Agricultural, Energy-like, Infrastructure, Transportation-like, Communication-like, Military and other assets?
Another 200 trillions?
I don't know.
Same go for taxable earnings.
Beside salaries and family assets (let say 100 trills) they tax the rest (let say 200 trills).
Only after WW2 dividents from extorted Europe were about 200 billions of dollars, they still comming to USA, probably in larger numbers.
You right about one thing, thought, one can't consume more than one create actual products, but your numbers missing few points:
Unlike Marksist's "1% editional cost", blue labour is payed no more than half and white labour no more than quarter of their due part of products to wich they contribute, so USA tax revenues alone could be larger, even while the rich avoid taxes...
But stealing bonanza by your ruling elite might dry out along with oil supply, World speculations, and last few peaces of intellectual property plagiarized and expropriated from me that flow trillions to USA from monopoly-fooled World.
God and I will not let you steal too much anymore, the World is changing, your estimate might be in future quite realistic...
Just rely on your honest earning, return to me priorities and royalties with proffits and proceeds, repent, try the gilty and wait for Judgment day.
God will go softer on you...
