WHAT YOU SOW YOU SHALL REAP, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO POLITICS & HILLARY CLINTON
Posted 12 weeks 1 day ago byThe other day I had a talk with my 24 year old 'gay' son who is waiting to see if he gets into USC on the importance of what you sow today, you may reap tomorrow, and if you are not careful (speaking from experience LOL) things can come back and bit you in the butt. We have all been there, done that. Atleast some of us older folks. I was explaining to him that there are consequences in life and sometimes, though we think at the time what we do is the right thing, down the road it may sometimes tap you on the shoulder and work against you. This is my segway into Hillary Clinton's campaign and her very upsetting loss. She had all the makings of a great President.
Not only did she have first hand experience of being in the Oval Office, she had hutzpah, she is powerful and strong, she is fighter, I could go on and on, but in short, she has all the qualities that truly make a great President. Unfortunately, what came with that was a big mouth, outspoken husband who didn't understand he was not running for President and his time had passed. I also believe "their baggage" didn't help. We all know what it is, so I don't have to get into the drama of being a Clinton, but that didn't help her campaign hense back to where I started from... what you sow, you shall reap... isn't that the case as to really why Hillary is now still fighting for her place in politics. If it is not a VP, it could be Supreme Court or down the road Governor of NY. Who knows... one thing is for sure.. a big pay off for the Pant Suit is coming down the road... She will get exactly what she wants out of this. As for Bill, well... second Lady? LOL

Thoughts
you got this one backwards.

It looks as if you got this one backwards. You said about Sen. Clinton:
"Republicans who voted for her only so they could defeat her in the general."
Most polls show that:
"repulicans crossover vote helps Sen. Obama"

I personally know many people who did this at the very beginning of the vote. Before most people heard the truth about him.
Something is wrong
Submitted on June 5th, 2008 by koolmom21I can only image what Sen. Clinton must be feeling. I bet she is scratching her head more then me. I ask myself over and over again-How can anyone seriously take Sen. Obama running for president. After all we know about him now I.E. his friends, him being a believer of black theology, his total inexperience, his family in Kenya and the list go on. How can anyone want someone like him for president of our country? My point is if we now know all of this how much more does Sen. Clinton and the powers that be know. I am sure Sen. Clinton was very careful to the point that she could not say as much as she should have.
janmb is right Al Sharpton would see there would be RIOTING.
I disagree with the man not his race but when I tell anyone I am not voting for Sen. Obama they automatically accuse me of being racist. Something is wrong with this whole thing.
Yep
Submitted on June 4th, 2008 by Skye RiversI have to admit Kevin, you could be right about her misleading her own campaign. If she could not do that right, which surprised the heck out of me, what makes anyone think she could run the country? I was a Clinton supporter and now I am very lost on who to support.
Stereotypical
Submitted on June 4th, 2008 by kevinkindLet us not stereotype all women who would be leaders by Hillary's effort.
Hillary is not qualified to lead a nation. She has proven this to everyone by the way she mislead her own campaign.
The only reason she finished as strong as she did, is because of Republicans who voted for her only so they could defeat her in the general.
There are many women of this great nation who would make great presidents, Hillary is just not one of them.
I hope that at some point in our nations very near future there will be a self made women with the strength of character and values to lead us as well if not better than any man.
DEMOCRATS HAVE NO LOYALTY AT ALL
Submitted on June 4th, 2008 by janmbI used to think republicans had too much loyalty but appears democrats have none at all.
Once Bill and Hillary were the darlings of the democratic party but some of their friends---former supporters now have NEW people to give their adoring attention to. The Clintons are the same people so must be their friends and former supporters have changed.
This campaign brought out how much America--hates women. Among those holding their tongues against all the personal obsene attacks towards Mrs Clinton are the silent Chairman Dean and hundreds of Democrats for whom Clinton has campaigned and raised millions of dollars.
Appears anything GOES when these kinds of attacks are made against a WOMAN but no one would DARE make the same remarks against OBAMA. Al Sharpton would see there would be RIOTING.
