Barack Obama is an Appeaser

I would like to start this blog post with the words of Neville Chamberlain:

"My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honor.  I believe it is peace for our time.  Go home and get a nice quiet sleep."

Less than one year after saying those words Hitler's invasion of Poland initiated WWII.  But there is something else less mentioned about the weakness of appeasement.  Enemies of Republic's love to use words to appease the Republics themselves because they know it can be effective with naive politicians.   Hitler said these words before Chamberlain declared peace:

"I have really in these years pursued a practical peace policy...I am grateful to Mr. Chamberlain for all his efforts.  I have assured him that the German people desires noting else than peace, but I have also told him that I cannot go back behind the limits set to our patience."

Before invading Poland Hitler had the audacity to state a year later:

"I have declared the frontier between France and Germany is a final one.  i have repeatedly offered friendship and, if necessary, the closest cooperation to Britain, but this cannot be offered from one side onlly...Germany has no interests in the West, and our western wall is for all time the frontier of the Reich on the west."

Chamberlain was considered by all to be a good man and served his nation during the war, but he and his allies were wrong and he knew it.  It is naive to negotiate with those enemies who say one thing and do another.  Senator Barack Obama is well intentioned but as naive as Chamberlain.  His policies will lead to a powerful Iran, leave Iraq as a satellite nation of Iran, and leave our closest ally in the region, Israel, alone before terrorists and their alliies.

Senator Obama is an appeaser pure and simple.  His administration would declare peace while conceding everything to our enemies.  This is why Senator Hillary Clinton or Senator John McCain must be the next president or we risk putting the very safety of our nation at risk.

"You ask, what is our aim?  I can answer in one word.  It is victory.  Victory at all costs - victory in spite of all terrors-victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival." - Sir Winston Churchill
