Obama shuns West Virginia
Posted 15 weeks 8 hours ago byWest Virginia, long denegrated as a place where brains are in short supply, may become one of the smartest states after their primary. Obama didn't think enough of them to even try to change their minds about him, and they gave Clinton an overwhelming mandate.
Does Obama's slight of West Virginia show more of his "clinging to guns and religion" biases? I think it is a very good picture of his real feelings for much of blue collar America. Even as he tries to cultivate blue collar workers, his elitist, bias feelings keep leaking out if people will pay attention.
I am not a Clinton fan by any means, but Obama has been feted by the media and continues to have "followers" far above what he should for what he offers. He is the most liberal of the two, he has much less political experience, he says very little of real substance, and he has some seriously questionable associations, and yet I hear people saying they want him for President all the time.
When I ask them why, they always say something like, "Well, he's for change" or "He just seems like a good guy". He may be the best guy in the world but that is not a qualification for president when there are other glaring problems. As far as the change goes, what kind of change? Not all change is good, and no matter who gets in there will be change. I can understand that people are tired of politics as usual, but Obama is not the answer. His type of change will be the end of the US as we know it.
Maybe McCain is only the lesser of three evils at this point, but if we don't want to move away from the principles that have made this country great (or if we want to move back to them) we need to consider carefully who gets our vote and why. The very future of our country is at stake.

A glimpse at the Obama Presidency..
Submitted on May 14th, 2008 by AnonymousI was watching The Communist News Network, otherwise known as CNN, and it's coverage of the West Virginia primary as something occurred to me. The wonderful coverage by Wolf Blitzer highlighted the issue of West Virgina white voters choosing Billary over B. Hussein. (I, obviously, don't care for either of them.) I was stunned after listening to non-sense on how white America just won't embrace a black candidate, because of his color alone. I sat there patiently awaiting the other side of the arguement, but it never came. Why is it that no one seems to comment on the nearly 90% of estimated black voters in North Carolina choosing B. Hussein? I suppose that it only goes without saying that these voters were somehow transcending race and voting on the issues that the candidates represent. Or, could it just be that this is a preview of what an Obama presidency will bring?
What would happen if someone criticizes Obama(as the manchurian president) on his first hair-brained attempt at re-distributing wealth in America? Could it just be that any criticism of Obama will warrant the race card? Be afraid, be very afraid.

Democratic votes
Submitted on May 14th, 2008 by AnonymousLet's get this straight. Hillary and Obama are only a couple of hundred votes apart in the delegate count. Neither can secure enough to turn the convention into a coronation which some party bigwigs seem to want, so why is one winning and ther supposedly losing? Could it be wishful thinking and fear of a free convention? After the first ballot, every vote will be up for grabs if there is not a winner clearly before it starts. So why is every one saying Obama is a sure thing and Hillary not, just a few months ago it was the other way round. Haven't they learned about their fallibility and learned to trust the voters?

Submitted on May 14th, 2008 by John 2000The state of denial is a psychological state. West Virginia was trying to be helpful in pointing that out.
That wacko party needs at least 4 years of therapy before being set free in public.
