Is " Maverick" , Sen. McCain, turning into a trigger-happy loose cannon?
Posted 10 weeks 3 days ago byPresident Bush's official heir cranked up his aggressive rhetoric , over the week-end, towards Hamas. Senator McCain stated: " I will be Hamas's worst nightmare..."
This type of counter productive stance remind us of the one made by President Bush when he told Iraqi's insurgents " To bring it on..." ,a few years ago.
The overall situation in the Middle-east , thanks to the Bush administration's reckless policy, is grim. Beside the Iraq fiasco, we have a civil war brewing in Lebanon, still no prospect of resolution between Israel & Palestine and Turkey attacking Iraq's Kurds within Iraq's border.
Well, at least we know what to expect if Sen. McCain is elected. Another 4 years of " My way or the highway " diplomacy and , yet, another trigger-happy Commander in Chief.
The choice is clear for American voters.

My how we

First, Source vs Point of view;
..come on this information (being polite) from Huffington Post was still posted to push personal agenda... call it what you wish... a "Point of view" from Huffington Post then, what changes? Still another attempted hatchet job on Senator McCain.
Second, No insurgents killed by US in Iraq had anything to do with 9/11;
..absolutely not referring to this, since the Iraq war thousands of top level terrorists have been taken out in Iraq, since those top level terrorists are no longer available to plot and execute the murder of innocent men, women and children... well do the math, but I am sure there will be some other explanation (the dog ate my homework too)...
Third, Bin Laden's age & Fourth, Obama's thank you card to Hamas;
..a deliberate point of view behind both points and please do not take so literally, in my estimation you are much, much wiser than that...
But then, there is always the Age card
Submitted on May 14th, 2008 by John 2000So, I went tooling around using a very handy-dandy tool:
http://bioguide.congress.gov/biosearch/b...
And discovered why it might not really be such a smart card to play. Too many Senators and Reps are so close to McCain's age and some noted ones are well beyond.
Checking on your " facts".
Submitted on May 14th, 2008 by MercyphotographyFirst of all, I was mentioning and refering to the Huffington Post not as a " source " but only as a point a view.
Second, none of the insurgents killed by the US in Iraq had anything to do with the attack of 9/11. Even the Bush administration is not peddling this myth anymore.
Third, I am assuming that " the 85 years old man hiding in a cave" in Pakistan is Osama Bin Laden. Bin Laden is only 51.
Senator Obama did not send Hamas a " thank you letter"....just wondering where you get your news.
Source; The Huffington Post...
Submitted on May 14th, 2008 by Respectfulguestare these the same folks that accused Senator McCain of not voting for President Bush after campaigning across the US for his Presidency?
Regarding the "trigger happy" assertions of President Bush and Senator Mccain.
At last count, thanks to the men and women serving, 1000's of Iraqi insurgents are no longer available to murder innocent men, women and children by blowing-up our buildings, planes and ships.
According to Senator Obama we are less safe. Knock on wood, but it has been 7 plus years since we've been hit, just a small trivial matter to people such as Senator Obama who would rather have our military bombing a remote Pakistan area in order to kill an 85 year old man hiding in a cave.
Subtle difference, Senator McCain states "I will be Hamas's worst nightmare"... Senator Obama sends Hamas a thank you letter for endorsing him as the next President of the United States.
I'll take the so-called trigger-happy guy.
Yes, I always hate using the
Submitted on May 12th, 2008 by John 2000Yes, I always hate using the WWII Nazi Party analogy in this discussion. But you must also know that the leader of that party was also elected democratically under social pretentions.
At the time of his election, he was not quite so outspoken as the various leaders of the 'terrorist' organizations and neighboring states currently are. Their intentions are clear and direct.
In an Islamic sense, Obama is quietly seen as an apostate to be treated accordingly and thoroughly used to move toward the expressed aim. Either you do not see the oft-repeated veracity of the goal, or you agree with it.
I mean, this is little Barry Obama, you remember the dude that hung out with Mr Wright for 20 years and never saw ...
Damn, Man!!!
Personally, I hope McCain can be their worst nightmare.
The Truth!
Submitted on May 12th, 2008 by HamiltonSenator McCain was actually responding to Hamas endorsement of Barrack Obama for president of the United States of America. Your savior; Barrack Obama obviously doesn’t agree with your personal assessment of the situation in the middle east, he just fire another advisor for actually setting down to talk with the tugs who claim to be in charge of Hamas. Are you really advocating the termination of a country? Has your thirst for power so deranged you and the radical left that you would condemn a nation and plunge the world into all out war? The policy of American support and friendship for Israel is not a Bush creation. Hamas would love to see Obama as president because of perceived weakness and cultural disdain he may feel towards our friends. John McCain will at least continue to stand by our allies, and deliver on our historical obligation. The safety of America really should be paramount when forming policy, not bowing to terrorist and tugs in an attempt to pacify the extreme fringe of America haters for votes.
Nazi Germany analogy?
Submitted on May 12th, 2008 by MercyphotographyJohn 2000,
I really do not get your World War Two analogy, once again Hamas was elected in Gaza by the Palestinians people.
One way or another, if the next President of the US want to work on helping the peace process in the Middle-East, Hamas will have to be involved at the negotiation table.
The idiotic international policies of the Bush administration have failed, and Sen.McCain will not get elected( there is so much vote that Joe Lieberman can get him), by posturing on Hamas or for that matter on Iran using Pres. Bush's tired rhetoric.
Do you still imagine that
Submitted on May 12th, 2008 by John 2000Do you still imagine that McCain is actually running for president?
But really, don't we have the mere idea of the continued existence of Israel to blame for all of this?
Shouldn't we be considering a phased withdrawal of those potential future Holocaust II victims from that sacred land of Mohammed?
Who was that arch-bozo that went to Germany the year before the Blitzkrieg began? There was some guarantee of peace in our time.
It is almost impossible for me to believe that Harold Pollack can possibly be Jewish, but then again there were Jews in Germany who did sell out. I guess you can cite that fact to the recent Hamas statements saying the Jews did it to themselves.
Pretty pathetic. Way to go, Arianna!
