Win, win situation
Posted 4 days 20 hours ago byJohn McCain is an Amazing man. The fact that he is wise enough to be married to Cindy who is a very Beautiful multi-millionaire who has unlimited access to beer should be proof enough for all.
But, I wish he would show the same wisdom in his stated policies of the ongoing occupation of Iraq. Trying to defeat Iraq completely by occupying their country for as long as it takes will do exactly that. A completely defeated Iraq will not be good for the region. The Iraqi people have only fought us as hard as we have fought those who in our youth tried to control and occupy us.
So I say, it is time to give the Iraqi people back their dignity, time to recognize a hard fought victory. Time for us to trust in the power of a people who have been introduced to the power of democracy. Let them use this new beginning to take back their own nation from all foreign entities.
Sometimes when you lose, you win. Sometimes when you think you have won, you have not. Sometimes the only way you really win is to break even. A victorious Iraq will have the self confidence to create for itself a strong sovereign civil Democracy capable providing for its own national security. Which will be a win, win situation for all.

Pie in the sky

Sure!

Those countries are funding and arming Al Qaida. Iraq is not killing Americans or each other, and if Islamic Arabic countries would leave them alone they would have a chance.
