I have watched it a couple of times in the past year; a true epic of the industry from when Hollywood could really produce fine work.
Keep up the work/fun. I mean, Nicholson started low budget like Little Shop of Horrors, and didn't do so bad. Not so long after that, whoa, Chinatown ... and still my favorite.

Submitted on April 20th, 2008 by BenOf course! I can't believe I missed the reference. I don't think I've seen "The Ten Commandments" as many times as you have, but I should have remembered that. Could be my pop culture view of the Decalogue was colored 20 years ago by a certain type of music more than the great Heston/DeMille film.
The lyrics are just OK, but you can really bang your head to it.

I didn't really want any of my kids, you know, to pretend they were, ahem, not alive, for the purposes of the video so I found a painting and then tried the "fog" effect over it.
But really - there's nothing better than the Cecille B DeMille image of the angel of death fog going from house to house and then all the parents screaming as the children die. Gives me chills even though I've seen it like...40 times? Maybe more.
At least now I won't forget the plagues anymore!
