Obama's victim mentality
Posted 25 weeks 4 days ago byIt always amazes me that Obama manages to come up smelling like a rose no matter what kind of dirt is unearthed about him. He did not do well in the last debate and he's blaming it on any one and everyone but himself. What? No speech writer to tell you how to respond? You poor thing! How dare they waste 45 minutes of the voters time making you look foolish and looking into your associations? It's OK, you can cry it out on mommy's shoulder.
Grow up! Americans are VERY interested in the issues that were discussed in the first 45 minutes of that debate. We know their stance on other issues. What we don't know is the real Obama. Who is this man underneath his veneer, rhetoric and whining? I think he is a very dangerous man for the US. He wants to take us global for one thing. Do we really want the US to disappear under the Global courts? Once we concede to anything the UN wants in relation to that, the US as we know it will no longer exist.
His associates DO matter.
He tries to say, "Oh, he was just a neighbor when I was 8." Then when the association on the board is brought up he deflects that little tid bit by throwing dirt at Clinton. Those of you who don't see the man behind the armor are doomed to feel the destruction he surely will bring to our way of life. He is not the messiah, he is a man. Nice or not, he is not the man to head up the US in the office of Presidency. Let's peel away the layers of civility and "not wanting to fight" he throws up and see who he really is. It's only as we keep poking at him like they did in the debate that his real self will be exposed. Hopefully the liberal media won't slide back into their "yes sir, how high sir?" pampering of Obama.
If you don't like the US feel free to leave, but don't destroy us from within by offering this man the highest office in the land. Only the truth - about issues and about the candidates themselves - will satisfy. Maybe now we can get that truth? I'm not going to hold my breath, but I've gained a little hope that the US will wake up before it's too late.

Thoughts
speaking of victim
Submitted on April 20th, 2008 by sunshine308If we as a people do not become vigilant and do the right things to protect our country and ourselves we will become the victims..the victims of poor choice, of being complacent with ideals, ideology, theology and demagoughery. What you have pointed out is not only very true (he is a very dangerous man for the U.S.)BUT THE VERY REASON WE NEED TO SCRUTINIZE this man as much as we can in the time that remains in this election process. You give more credit than I.. for I personally do not think he IS a nice person..I think that he just gives the impression of being a nice person. I cannot appreciate that a person who has been personally mentored in the doctrine of Cones Black liberation theology by Wright for 20 years, which is based upon hate of whites and blaming whites for all that has happened to blacks and is therefore a racist and hate monger, can be a nice person. Obama is a professional at several things, pretending at being a "man of the people" and at running a demagoughery. The proof of who is behind the facade however is beginning to fall into place as the media finally starts to make some dents in that facade. In the last few weeks we have discovered a person who is not unlike his father Barack Hussein Obama sr., a man who is an arrogant opportunist and who pushes his ideology (in the case of his father it was communism..) and Obama jr. offers us his form of a marxist socialism. People in America who are not being alert are being fooled by the smile and the speeches, the charisma of Obama ..they are not looking under the covers..the reality is that Obama is arrogant, an elitist who does in fact think that he has the corner on intellect, charm, and perhaps now too, financial well being.. He did make disparaging remarks about small town America and proved himself inept to hide his real feelings.. and the usual stupid attempt 3 times after to take back what he said .. He further in the debate the other night, proved that he is only a great speaker when he has the podium and no one can ask questions that demand a direct answer..he stammers and stutters and shows his weak attempts to talk around under and over points that are exposing him for who he is..
He again blew his chance to denounce Wright, which he wont do because he believes the same at Wright..by disowning some of what he said is easy.. he just means that he would have found other words to say the same things..for in his heart is the same belief as in Wrights. I believe he would cause racial issues to revert many years if he was in power. I believe that this man has no credibility for he has lied to us so many times the list is now too long..he has no integrity or he would have stood against racism and hate mongering when he had 20 years to do so ..his friends and associates proves that he has very poor judgement and his attempt to pass off Ayers was ridiculous. Because he was 8 yrs old when Ayers started bombing has nothing to do with it.. it is that Ayers who he works with and socializes with and is friends with, has said just recently that he regrets that he did not bomb more US Federal buildings..so in fact he still has this terrorist attitude in his heart..and connections to the PLO..Ayers wife is also a terrorist.. and Ayers would not admit whether or not he would ever bomb again..why on earth would Obama think it was ok for someone seeking the most prestigious and powerful office in the world to have a friend like this, along with REZKO the criminal, Farrakahn the Islamic bigot racist and hate monger,Odinga the Islamic extremist,Walter Veltroni the Italian communist leader, a marxist mentor and of course Wright. Those are the things that speak loudy to us about Obama. Obama is a master at deception and if we are not careful we will have the worst situation we have ever had to deal with and possibly a consequence to our country that will be irreversible.

Submitted on April 20th, 2008 by ansuyoThat statement was in reference to Michelle (and Wright) and even Obama or anyone else who doesn't like our country, not targeting the voters. Your vote is your vote and belongs to you.
And, what happens when people are emotional about facts that others won't believe. Rationalization works both ways. I am also open for dialogue (why I blog here) and if I can get people thinking and talking I will feel as if I have done my job for the day.
Peel the emotional response aside and you will see the facts: Obama did whine and he does have close associates with questionable character. He also uses his "rise above it all" theme to stop people from looking at him by causing people to get so focused on the "don't judge" aspect that they forget the real issue: Will the real Obama please stand up.
Chance meetings?
Submitted on April 20th, 2008 by ansuyoPeople that come into one's life - no!
People who I hang around with and choose to associate with - yes!
While I wouldn't consider treating people bad no matter what, I don't have close associations with them. Obama's associations have not been "chance meetings" by any means. If they were this would not even be an issue.
Where to begin...
Submitted on April 20th, 2008 by AnonymousYour post is full of inaccuracies, which causes you to lose credibility. What struck me the most was this statement:"If you don't like the US feel free to leave, but don't destroy us from within by offering this man the highest office in the land." Are you suggesting that the citizens voting for Barack Obama don't like the US and should leave? Huh? Help me understand how we are suppose to take you serious? I'm pretty open to dialogue, but if you don't represent facts versus your own emotion, what can I say...

Submitted on April 19th, 2008 by sunshine308Barack has been complaining loudly for days now since the debate that is was unfair and that they didnt have good questions and that they ganged up on him..where have you been? and despite your description of McCain and Hillary Clinton, people should be voting for them, either of them rather than Obama.. he will be big trouble for our country and us personally.. His far left liberal ideology does not fit with what Americans want for their country.. we are simple folk but we aint so damn simple that we cant see through him and what he would do to our country. Sure things need to change and I truly believe that Hillary has the ability and the strength to make positive changes that this country needs without increasing taxes as Barack would to pay for all his election promises.. she has some solid plans, she has the desire to make changes and not the same old same old.. The changes Obama might make are the ones we might wish we had never wished for.

Obama is just a man who meets people of different character on his path through life, no different the you and I. Are we than responsible for all the people who we have come in contact with no matter how chance the meeting. I've come across some very unique characters on my path through life and I hope no one judges me for any reason other than the way I've treated them and not for how they think or behave.
How many of your friends would you be willing to stand in judgment along side and be willing to except the same punishment they get based on your combined character? I mean unless maybe your married to them you probably wouldn't.
Haven't heard?
Submitted on April 19th, 2008 by ansuyoWhenever Obama makes statements about how bad Hillary is or ABC for asking him the right questions for a change, he has whined! How dare we question his personal associations. I'm not for down and dirty politics either. What I am for is open discloser of the person's character and that includes companions.
Those are legitimate questions but he doesn't want to answer them because he knows the citizens would turn against him if they knew the truth. It's easy to take the high road when it comes to your own stuff while putting down your opponent. Obama is doing that just as much as Clinton. I could give you quotes, but you all can look them up just as well as I can.
If you love Obama you shouldn't fear what could come out about him. If he has the character to stand up, it will stand up on his own. Blind following doesn't make it true.

I haven't heard
Submitted on April 19th, 2008 by kevinkindI haven't heard Barack complain about anything, I heard him point out to us all the things that were obvious to even you about the state of old school, tabloid, politics that McMain and Hillary are puking onto the political stage. The kinds of things just reminds us all the way people who have been in Washington for far too long believe deep in their heart that this is the way Washington should work. The fact that Washington doesn't work proves them wrong. Judging by the state our country is now in, because of this type of politics, the only people left to support them must not have enough sense to know when something works and when it doesn't.
