Historians views on the Bush's " legacy".
Posted 21 weeks 5 days ago byPresident Bush's approval rating has reached a record low among American people. The latest polls indicate that only 19% of Americans think the country is going in the right direction as opposed to 81% in the wrong one.
Yet, Bush claims that " History will be the judge" of his administration and compare himself to Truman and other unpopular presidents.
Let see what historians have to say in the matter.
In an informal survey of 109 professional historians conducted by the History News Network, 98.2% rated it as a failure while 1.8% classified it as a success.
Further, 61% rated Bush Presidency as worst ever among the 42 Presidencies.
Yet Bush, in his own words and unique style was still saying on February 10 2008 on Fox:
" As far as history goes and all of these quotes about people trying to guess what the history of the Bush Administration is going to be, you know, I take great confort in knowing that they don' t know what they are talking about, because history takes a long time for us to reach ."

The madness of King W .

The Bush administration has done this countless time.Of course he is a complete failure, but also a disturbed individual.
Bush and Cheney should have been impeached a long time ago. He is absolutely the worst President in US history. Not only we are paying the price for this insanity but our children, and even grand children will have to pay dearly.
Historians "Informal Survey" Participants
Submitted on April 7th, 2008 by AnonymousWhat they failed to mention in this "Informal Survey".... Of the 109 "Professional Historians", 76 were from the University of Tehran, 15 from Damascus U (they just call it the U), and 15 from Pyongyang College of Dictatorships. Rounding out this fine crew of "Professional Historians" to give their non partisan views in this "Informal Survey" were Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy and Harry Reid. They are now referred to as the Fab 109 after collaborating on this all important "Informal Survey" of "Professional Historians". Absolutely no agenda on this one folks...
Worst President Ever - Bush.
Submitted on April 7th, 2008 by AnonymousI think he misunderestimates just how badly him and his cronies have messed up this country.
I'm thinking once we reach "history", they will put right up there with Nero. Nero will still be a better leader, because at least he could play the fiddle while Rome burned.
"History takes a long time to reach"
Submitted on April 7th, 2008 by Barrie ChurchGod, I am gonna miss him when he leaves office!! And when we "reach history" I think that historians will give him a 99.9% dissaproval rating.
He wouldn't know.
Submitted on April 7th, 2008 by AnonymousObviously Bush has no grasp of history because he's made every repeatable mistake in the book. Maybe if he'd spent less time partying, and more time actually reading in college, we'd be in a better spot.
