Democrats Blowing It, Outside Of Own Support Base

As an open minded American voter, it seems with all the problems the democratic candidates have encountered regarding past actions it would have been a good idea for the democratic candidates to get out in front of the past actions (too late now). It seems only staunch democrats are willing to give the benefit of doubt regardless of how weak of an explanation is put forward for a past action. It is to a point where one can not believe if a past claim is true, not true or partially true when either of the democratic candidates speak, and this is just the democaratic primary. Just wait until the republicans start dicing through either of the democratic candidates past actions and records in the national elections.

It's difficult to support a Presidential candidate when that candidate can not even pass the original sniff test of just being straight forward and honest. If credibility were not a huge issue then Senators Obama and Clinton would have been past this by now.
