Posted 1 year 50 weeks ago byRemember in Wisconsin, when Obama declined to debate Clinton? She gave speeches and ran ads excoriating him for it. "The people of Wisconsin deserve a debate," she said.
Now, CBS has proposed a debate in North Carolina moderated by Katie Couric to follow the one both have agreed to in Pennsylvania. Obama accepted immediately. No response from the Clinton camp.
If Clinton believes the people of every state deserve a debate, why is she hedging?

I worked the elections and was astounded and welcomed the huge turnout. I would just like to know, why all these people did not vote in the last 20 or 30 years? Maybe if they had taken nmore of an interest in "their" country, they would not be so dissatisfied with it now.

She strongly supported NAFTA,and many of her claims are bogus. She continually accuses Obama of disenfranchishing MI and FL they disregarded the rules and each of the states have/are deciding for themselves, she agreed last November. She needs votes, present her stand on the issues. Why is she reluctant now?

Submitted on March 23rd, 2008 by mxyzptlk...the point is that Clinton latches onto every minor issue she can. She didn't just say he should have had a debate in Wisconson, she paid to run ads. So why isn't it worthwhile to raise this matter as regards N.C.?
