YouTube: Keith Olbermann isn't happy with Hillary Clinton
Posted 25 weeks 2 days ago byI think Keith Olbermann is a little over-the-top here -- I always get a little embarrassed when he steals Murrow's "good night and good luck" -- then again, that's his shtick. But this video is the buzz of the left-side blogosphere, and it's clear that Olbermann is tapping into a growing discontent with the Clinton campaign over its recent tactics. The danger for Clinton is that Olbermann's rant will amplify that discontent.
Witness Spencer Ackerman:
Olbermann unloads both barrels. It sounds, he says, like the Clinton campaign wants -- his tonal emphasis -- to beat Obama by exploiting racism. If she's the Democratic nominee, I'm not voting in November.
In any case, it's become clear over the last month that Clinton's plan is not to attract voters so much as render Obama toxic. Obama's campaign is based on getting people to love him; Clinton has no such illusions that the same is possible for her. But her campaign in recent days may have misunderstood the dynamic; voters may not have to love you, but they do have to respect you. Clinton already had that commodity among Democrats, but it may be slipping away from her ... based entirely on her campaign's actions.

Submitted on March 29th, 2008 by AnonymousPoor african-american people. Go to see Jeremiah Wright castle and when I'm thinking that money,5 dollar were maybe your last, and you gave it to the church. I feel sorry for all of you. He bought the land for , I think, 345,000 dollar, after one year, he sold the land to the church. In 2006,the church applied for construction permit. In 2007,they get the permit, making a loan of 1,6 million dollar, necessary for the construction(retirement palace) for the loved Jeremiah Wright. You, poor people, hardly can make ends-meet. By the way, no taxes for the pastor. All crook predicators. I would never-ever would give one penny to the church. If, I would have money, I would go directly to the people in need and help them with everything I can, and not rob them. This is my opinion. Would be nice, instead preaching hate, brainwash them, fearing they woud ask questions.
Stealing
Submitted on March 29th, 2008 by AnonymousI don't know who steal from whum? I'm 100 % sure, If us, the voters would know from the beggining about Obama,he won't have the votes he has. Why, Olberman @ Co.never mentioned, how Obama became senator in Chicago(read Chicago Tribune),there you will find out about the"Illinois Combine",with all the dirty activity of Rezko, Auchi, republicans, democrats, together stelling millions of dollars. By the way on March 31-monday- the faimos Rezko trial will start. The funny thing is, Obama, just by accident " dropt" in ,on a few "business'meetings with Rezko,Auchi, and so many names mentioned, that is hard to remember. Plus,go to read Obama's book " DREAMS" , where all of the people mentioned in the book, challanged Obama description about them. If,Hillary is dishonest(big deal Bosnia) then Obama is the biggest liar in the earth, sure covered by CNN, MSNBC.Bunch of hypocrits.
Olberman/swein
Submitted on March 29th, 2008 by AnonymousOlberman, is the most impartial presidential contest reporter. He is the reason that Obama is where he is.MSNBC, complectly refused to let us, the people to know, who Obama is from the beggining of the presidemtial campaign.(together with CNN). Thanks to, Fox news channel, who was first to show us Jeremiah Wright tape. I can't imagine that Olberman could be so hateful toward one other human being. I would never watch his show again. He thinks he is smart, maybe. but for my opinion he is one arrogant disgusting person.
Hillary
Submitted on March 29th, 2008 by AnonymousI think she is a very nasty person..I also
believe that she is just concerned with winning for herself and not for the country.
This is all about her and her dreams..
I will say she has some imagination...Wow
bullets flying over her head....what next.
She has no more experience then Barack Obama.
And my vote will be for Barack Obama,,Not Hillary..I feel bad for the people in Pennsylvani who are being brain washed by the
Gov E. Rendall that must know that is a
liar. Yet they follow him for her.
Hillary
Submitted on March 23rd, 2008 by AnonymousIt is obvious that Russert, Olberman, and Chris Mathews have all teamed up to berate Hillary from the very first primary and it is disgusting to watch the slant. We are going to wind up with Obama for a dem candidate and that is just not right when Hillary has beaten him in every large state. If it were winner take all states Obama would have been done a long time ago. One can clearly see that Obama will get beat in the regular election and the Hillary is by far the best candidate of the 3 that are left to choose from. Why should Hillary drop out when she can still win the popular vote and the superD's should give her the nod. Dr Z
i think hes right
Submitted on March 13th, 2008 by Anonymouson target. this kind of crap makes me insane. this is my party for which I have worked for my entire adult life to further and never have I ever seen a democrat do some of the things that she has done. This is is something Rove or Bush would do. And he's right.. it is a pattern of behavior. Its nasty, its wrong, and he is right to speak out against it.
I started out this election adoring Sen Clinton as a woman that I hoped to learn from, to be even. I've slowly become so disgusted with her and her campaign that I'm quite simply done. And its heartbreaking. My respect too is gone.
Clinton
Submitted on March 13th, 2008 by AnonymousKnowing all along that both Clintons are lifetime members of the Republican Wing of the Democratic party, Mrs. Clinton, nevertheless lost my vote when she voted to authorize the Illegal and Immoral invasion of Iraq.
Yep, II
Submitted on March 13th, 2008 by OtherJoelMore or less what I was saying earlier. I don't necessarily think Olbermann was "over-the-top;" he was obviously expressing a genuine frustration with how such a good candidate (I do think he believes that) can run such a poor campaign.
For a long time, my only hesitation with Clinton was that she would be a huge target of the far-right. They were purely tactical concerns. But I liked her as a candidate. But the campaign does not exist in a vacuum. She is ultimately the person who is responsible for the mistakes of her campaign. I realize it must be hard work to campaign for President; but the campaign staff, if she wins, will likely follow her into the White House, and so far it isn't inspiring confidence.
And I still fear that the right will be much more prepared (and motivated) to attack Clinton in the general. Obama's so-called lack of experience (or his actual lack of history of pissing off the right), I think, makes him the more electable candidate. I haven't seen the recent polls for the hypothetical general election vote, but in the past they've shown Obama to be more likely to beat McCain. I doubt recent events will do anything to change that.
"voters may not have to love
Submitted on March 13th, 2008 by Amy M"voters may not have to love you, but they do have to respect you" - EXACTLY.
Even when I was supporting a Republican candidate, I always said I respected and admired Hillary. Even though I disagreed with her on almost every issue. Now, with this campaign, any respect or admiration I had has completely eroded.
