The day I couldn't afford to fuel up my pickup truck.
Posted 45 weeks 1 day ago byIs when America really started to suck. You dumb -ssess hung the only man interested in keeping the price of oil low by maintaining a high production flow. Now I can't afford to fuel my truck, You "Bush Camp" people really suck.
Its time to fire up at full force the American domestic oil production machine, at the same time we create new clean fuel technologies.
Just think what it will do for the dallor if we can sale some of our own oil to the chinese.
I know if I keep saying stuff like this out loud, I may end up going the way of Dr.King. So I would like to offer up for bid the right to publish all the things I've written on my Blog.
If you don't hear from me again I'm pretty sure it was the "bush camp"
p.s. It will cost extra if you need all of it spelled right.

Thoughts
Iraq owes America!!?
Submitted on March 13th, 2008 by AnonymousI doubt the Iraqi civilians killed since the US invaded using dubious evidence of WMDs will empathise with you.
All the same though, your sentiments do prove what we in Europe all think. The war in Iraq is all about oil. Even Alan Greenspan says so. It's right there in his autobiography.
Damien, Ireland.
PS: We've had high oil prices for decades - you'll (have to) adapt.
Effect of high gas prices.
Submitted on February 27th, 2008 by Sal AciousHigh gas prices just mean that the only people who need a truck drive a truck. Living in Texas, I have friends that drive Chevy Duramax 2500 4x4 (non-diesels) that get 10 MPG and never carry any cargo. The only thing they've ever used the truck for was to move apartments. Same with jokers who drive a Hummer every day - what for? They never go "off-road" and they aren't the safest vehicle. It's those people who help drive up the demand and price of oil, and in my opinion help fund the terrorists. I'm not saying drive a Prius, but Americans (males in general) need to stop tying their image to the car they drive and live within their means. What's wrong with driving a regular car unless you have a ranch, haul cargo, or live where muddy dirt roads provide the only access?
Old Chavez may have a point
Submitted on February 27th, 2008 by kevinkindHis country is struggling to create a middle class, while ours is in a fight just to maintian ours.
Multi national oil company profit margins may be the reason creating and maintaining a middle class has become so difficult.
The Oil companies need to start showing a little good faith, or every smart country with that "type of resources", may being doing things the Chavez way.
Good faith does not mean trying to buy up whole countries for as cheap as you can.
Something that might be missing from this discussion
Submitted on February 26th, 2008 by Jolly SapperThere might be a slight problem with the idea of drilling in the Gulf or in ANWAR for oil. This is the USA, were state owned businesses (you know, like Castro and Chavez) are frowned uppon. So when Exxon or Shell or (name of random oil/energy company here) find the oil fields, develop ways to pump the oil out of the ground (that are cost effective of course, remember these are CAPITALISTIC organizations and exist solely to make a profit and not SOCIALISTIC organizations that exist to provide a good/service with no concern if a profit is made or not) the oil will be sold to the market that offers the highest price (don't forget the worth of the currencies around the world isn't all equal, at the moment the dollar doesn't seem to have the same power around the world that it used to).
So I'm pretty sure that the oil companies that are already drilling in Alaska sell the oil that they pump to whomever will buy it, and I guarantee you that ALL of the oil from Alaska that is being pumped out by a private company (whether its publicly traded or not doesn't matter) WON'T wind up in the tanks of US automobiles. Things might be different if there were a few oil companies that the US government owned and operated (there aren't any that I'm aware of, feel free to correct me) that could/would pump oil out of the ground for the sole purpose of fueling US automobiles (which would probably reduce the price, hopefully, because there would be no CEO's or stockholders who do their fair share at driving up the overhead of a company.)
Better hold on tight. . .
Submitted on February 26th, 2008 by dbassdI was listening to NPR(National Public Radio) the other day, while I was slaving at my construction work, and they were talking to a cabbie in London. Price for a gallon of gas. . .$9. I drive a big truck now, and I can not afford the price of gas or anything else. . .
What are we going to do if our gas gets that high? It is a real possibility. . .
But that being said, I have to agree with you,
American get it done.
It is going to be my next new saying. Thanks
I say that we import every drop of Iraqi oil for our own, as they owe us big time, and it is time to pay up. . .
Just another ,no we can'tor
Submitted on February 26th, 2008 by kevinkindFrom the BushCamp,
which part of YES WE CAN, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?
TOGETHER "WE" CAN DO ANYTHING. WE ARE AMERI "CANS",NOT AMERI "CAN'T BE DONES".
I've heard enough about AWNR. that always been a red herring, there is enough oil in our gulf to hold us over until we can gradualy be winged, off of so much oil and on to fuels that are clean.
Beside chinese and Dr. King kinda Rhyme so I ant gonna take it out.
Give me a minute, I think there maybe someone at my door. I should be right back in just a little while.
Chinese get their oil from Russia
Submitted on February 26th, 2008 by AnonymousEven if we drill ANWR we'll still need to import oil because as a country we consume so much more than we can produce.
And don't forget, the price will continue to increase forever, because India/China and other developing nations are beginning to set their bikes aside in favor of small cars and motorcycles. Each of those countries has 3-4 times the amount of people as the United States.
India/China are all booming economies which cannow afford cars because American companies like Wal-mart, Best Buy, IBM, American Airlines, and many others have abandoned the American worker.
