Heard it through the Grapevine (wiretapping)
Posted 38 weeks 4 days ago byIn my opinion, I think that Americans should use any and every method of information getting that we can think of, in order to thwart any pending disasters.
We should not afford anyone whom is not a US citizen any of the rights that protect us. They(the rest of the world) should be aware that they are on thin ice, and that we are going to get them any way we can.
I do not see any Taliban, Al-Quieda, or any other Muslim, communist, or whatever other dissidents of the world that we have to fight with, playing fairly.
This is how the tables should be turned now.. .
You fight dirty and unfairly? Let the good old USA show you how it really is done.
As much as I hate the idea of torture, it might have the same affect as having a strong death penalty would have on the murder rate in this country. It may well stop it in its tracks. . .
The new World consciousness would be "Dont mess with the US, they dont play fair. . ."
That is how you fight evil, with evil
I for one am tired of being the nice guy and then having to pay for it. . .
As the erudition of the world increases, then maybe we could let down our guard, in about a 100 years. . .

What?
Submitted on February 24th, 2008 by dbassdAre you implying that the US government has to spy on its citizens, to get information. I think every American citizen should grant that right to the government, in the name of national security, unless they are hiding something. . . They can not take a right away that we give up freely. . .
I am an open book, and they can investigate me freely. . .
We have to flush the rats out somehow. . .
Well...

... you're in good luck. Because the wiretapping debate isn't about anyone who isn't a U.S. citizen. It's about the rules governing surveillance that includes American citizens.
