Submitted on March 1st, 2008 by JudyYou stated that Hillary "is not Bill". True, she isn't. But then why is she using "Bill's" presidential years as some kind of a resume for herself? And even though Hillary was in the White House in Washington with Bill, that doesn't mean she herself has any executive experience AT ALL! Of course we would expect a person like yourself and George W. to support her based on misguided reasoning

Submitted on March 1st, 2008 by RobertMaking up lies about Barack because you are saddened by Hillary's losses is NOT going to help your candidate win. Your observations are based on 3 things: #1 Paranoia #2 Conjecture #3 Silliness. It is the Clintons that have been chummy with the Bush family, NOT the Obama's! So if anyone will be the leader of a "puppet government" it will be your candidate! Michelle Obama's comment is old news. I agree with Mrs. Obama and I'm not the only one. I wasn't "proud" of my country when my fellow countrymen voted Nixon, Reagan, Bush 1, and the worst of all Bush 2 in office. Bill Clinton was a disgrace too with his own scandals (even though he did some good for the country). In my opinion, Michelle has absolutely NOTHING to apologize about. But being that she is a nice person, she apologized for offending the people that took her comment the wrong way - you know, people like you! As far as your comments regarding Rezko: I totally disagree with you. There is nothing illegal about what Barack did, so let's quit with the accusations, theories, etc. I have also been hearing a lot lately about how the media is treating Hillary unfairly, and theories as to why republicans are supporting Barack. I'd like to put those things to rest right here and now. #1 If Hillary is being treated unfairly by the media, then that's her own fault. In the debates, she has not abided by the time rules that were laid out beforehand. She has also been very rude toward the moderators in these debates, attempting to dictate how these debates are run. Then she has the audacity to suggest that she is being attacked from all angles by the media. Barack's attacks by the media (Rezco, Michelle's statement, etc.) were unprovoked, whereas Hillary's were provoked by her attacking the media. #2 Some republicans support Barack's campaign because they are fed-up with Bush's failed policies which are effectively crushing the republican party. Now, if those same republicans supported McCain or Clinton, then they would be supporting Bush again because those people's policies (especially in regard to Iraq) are somewhat the same. Let us not forget that Hillary began her campaign in support of keeping the troops in Iraq for 5 years, and then did a 90 on us later because she realized that Americans didn't want that! Some republicans realize that since their own party's candidates are out of touch with mainstream America, they have to do something to assure that their party will survive. So they hitch up with Obama. They know that Barack Obama is the only candidate that is in touch with the most important issues facing America right now. They know that Barack's stand on the Iraq situation is more in tune with what mainstream America wants. They know that Barack has a reputation of being sensible and reasonable toward the suggestions of others and that he deals with things intelligently. There's your real answer as to why some republicans are supporting Obama. Now, if you need proof about the things I said concerning the Clinton/Bush love affair, or the fact that Hillary flip-flopped on the troop withdrawal issue, then go to the following websites:

You believe this?
Submitted on February 24th, 2008 by dbassdI really do not trust anything that I read anymore. Especially with the NYT scandal against McCain.
Anything that is as long winded as that article, has to be covering some BS.
Just get to the point. Lets see some proof for an outlandish piece of Sci-FI. It just sounds preposterous. . .
Sorry Charlie
Another election, another left-wing conspiracy

KARL ROVE LEAVES EVIDENCE???? lol
Submitted on February 24th, 2008 by sunshine308PULEEEZE.. take your blinders off.. goodness sakes..why didnt they support McCain?? .. they will in the general election silly..and did you expect Rove to leave a trail of crumbs for you?? get real.. at this point in time after Obama has been partially exposed as to his Islamic roots and connections, his marxist mentor which allows us to see where his very leftist liberal views come from..(socialism), his very public lies and more lies, especially regarding REZKO and his criminal connections and illegal money, his very bad voting record and his flip flops showing that he is inconsistent, his "present" votes showing he cant take a stand on important issues which means he has no leadership qualities, his union with a woman, although supposedly intelligent, shows her ignorance and reverse racism both through her public statements , most especially the one that says she has no pride in American, nor has she ever felt any as an adult.. HOW BLOODY SHAMEFUL A THING TO SAY!!! and in her senior thesis in which she shows proof that most of the racism is by blacks against blacks.. So please dont you too be delusional about the gop "liking" Obama.. they definitely do not have blinders on.. they know exactly what they are doing and why.. and the democrats are going to shoot themselves in the foot again if they don't realize what is going on..
Hillary is the only candidate that has the ability and strength to take on this office, no she is not perfect..but she is STILL THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS THE EXPERIENCE AND KNOW HOW, THE DETERMINATION AND EXPERTISE TO DO THIS JOB..and SHE IS NOT BILL.. she is definitely her own person and she has shown a dedication to the good of the people of this country for many many years..she has humanitarian awards from all over including the rest of the world.. she has liasons to do the work she needs to.. she has relationships with heads of state all over the world ..governments she has dealt with many times .. so if we dont want a disaster in the making to only get worse.. vote for Hillary. If Obama gets the nomination the gop will deal with Obama in a very expiditious manner.. he has too many skeletons in his closet..too many unexplained connections with people/groups/things that represent danger to Americans..he has only words to offer us and even those are stolen.. You brought up the subject of him being a crook?? he is much more.. he has associated with a criminal for years and taken money from him many times.. let him run on his finance comittee, do real estate deals with him.. while he was REZKO's buddy, REZKO was leaving African Americans sitting in his run down low cost housing in Chicage in the middle of winter without heat or lights.. The gop will make mincemeat of him.. do not doubt that. If by chance Obama was ever elected, you can be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST PUPPET GOVERNMENT EVER IN HISTORY.

RE: Obama: The Republicans Pawn
Submitted on February 24th, 2008 by AnonymousSwidrow: I went to the site and I found it very interesting. If everything said is true, then maybe Hillary had it coming. Let's put her under the microscope now. Her husband Bill was chummy with Bush Sr. and he defended his relationship with Bush Sr. even though fellow democrats warned him that it didn't look good to the democrat people. Bill Clinton went as far as saying that Hillary would take advice from Bush Sr. concerning Iraq if she got in office. Then we have George W practically endorsing Hillary last year when he was interviewed by ABC. Talk about Barack's involvement with FOX, take a look at Hillary's, go to: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/05/0... I don't feel bad for Hillary at all! After Bill's actions, her conservative voting(regarding Iraq), and her involvement with people like Rupert Murdoch, she got what she deserved - it backfired! As far as the republican money and support is concerned: I don't know if the site is suggesting that republicans are pouring money into Obama's campaign so that he wins the nomination and is easily defeated in the general (or) if it is suggesting Obama is working behind the scenes with republicans and that he will turn on his supporters when elected. There are other ways of looking at this if you take some time to think about it a while. It could be that republicans poured money into Obama's campaign because they finally realized that Americans were fed-up with Bush's policies so they supported Obama as a way to gain a good reputation with voters again (or) because they feared their party could not survive the backlash of Bush's policies any longer. They naturally would support the democrat that could relate best with the voters (which they eventually found to be Obama). And let's not forget that the site you mention is referring to FORMER Bush people(which means something didn't click between them and Bush). Also, there is NO EVIDENCE that links any of this to Karl Rove. Why didn't they support McCain? Because McCain openly admitted he would continue the Bush policies in Iraq. What may have happened is that these former Bush supporters got angry and left Bush to fend for himself since he didn't want to change his policy regarding Iraq. You see, this way the republicans don't look so bad in the public eye (if they support Obama they can re-gain the trust they lost through Bush). If Obama becomes president and doesn't act in a timely manner regarding things like the patriot act, the Iraq war, and so on, then all Hell will break loose because that would mean Obama was bought off (as your site suggests)and the people that voted for him will be furious! I'm currently for Obama and I won't change that unless something happens that indicates the guy is a crook!
Good grief, not "martial law" again
Submitted on February 24th, 2008 by BenFrom "The City Edition" piece:
"For his part, President Bush may have implemented a back-up plan last April when he signed National Security Presidential Directive/NSPD 51, an executive order allowing him to suspend the constitution without prior congressional approval. NSPD 51 gives the President the discretion to declare a state of emergency (i.e. martial law) in the event of a major terrorist attack or other “decapitating” incident against the United States, even if the attack happens outside the country. Under this scenario, he can cancel elections, padlock the Capitol dome and send the Supreme Court justices home..."
Yeah, this was supposed to happen in 2004, too. Remember? And plenty of people on the right side of the spectrum were dead certain that Bill Clinton would pull a similar stunt in 2000, to coincide with the Y2K catastrophe that never happened. This is nothing new. But that doesn't make it any less tedious.
Not gonna happen, folks.
Oh, that's not to deny that the power doesn't exist, or there aren't plans in a Pentagon vault, or that the National Security Presidential Directive 51 doesn't say what it says. But that document reiterates what just about every president since, oh, Woodrow Wilson has asserted under Article II of the Constitution.
It's entertaining reading, though.
gop strategy
Submitted on February 24th, 2008 by sunshine308No sir.. they are backing Obama with millions because they know
that is KNOW they can make mincemeat out of him.. they know how strong Hillary is.. she has withstood more than most men on the campaign trail have, could or would and SHE IS STILL HERE..
Seems far fetched.
Submitted on February 24th, 2008 by AnonymousWhere's the proof? This seems like a stretch. The republicans want to face off with Hillary - she's easier to turn public sentiment against.
