We are going to let a Jr Senator waltz into the oval office? What about paying your dues? And he is going to change Washington? That is truly naive. He will be a pawn for the Democratic machine. They will tell him what to say and when to say it. Can you say puppet?
As president he will make mistakes, and be the laughing stock of the whole world, and that reflects badly on us.
Change a political system that has been in place for over 200 years? Get real. He is just going to join it. . .
I do not think that the Jr Senator has the guts to face any change. To give him a taste of how hard it is to change, tell him to quit smoking.
It looks bad for an American President to smoke.
If he does not respect his own body and health, how can he be trusted to protect our nation. . .

obama's change is just more of the same

Why did Senator Kennedy endorse Obama? At the beginning of the campaign, Obama chastized Clinton because of a comment that suggested she supported license for illegal immigrants. Then Senator Kennedy endorsed Obama, and on super tuesday he spoke out for licenses for illegals. Now, on his website, is Senator Kennedy's failed amnesty plan from last year. And people like Obama and Kennedy have been trying to give illegals amnesty ever since Reagan gave us "Amnesty, once and only once".
The war in Iraq. Obama has been preaching that he will have our troops out of Iraq by the end of 2009. But now he says it depends on what his advisors say, how fast we will actually leave Iraq. So, he's gone from out by the end of 2009, to out ASAP, which is what Clinton has already been saying all along, to whenver it's advisable, which could be a hundred years from now, like he accuses McCann of wanting. So as far as the Iraq war, only Clinton is really talking change.
What about taxes? Well, who are Obama's major supporters? Wealthy, and well-off. So, when he does raise taxes, and he has to raise taxes to pay for all of the failing programs he plans to start? That's obvious. He's gonna tax the poor and middle class, because the rich are the ones funding his campaign.
And let us not forget Michelle Obama's statement "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country BECAUSE..." I emphasized the word because to show that she really meant that she's never been proud of america until he husbsnd got this close to being president. The word "because" is used at the end of a comment to explain why you came to make the comment. This means Michelle really meant what she said, and he follow up comment made the same point. If she really didn't mean what she said, either her or her husband would have apologized. But then, both Obama's are left-wing liberals, and liberals are constantly telling us that they are not proud of OUR country.
Seems to me, the only change that Obama is talking about, is his constant change in his position, to try and get votes.

You know .. this has nothing to do with strategy.. it has to do with dumb and dumber.. the American public that is mesmerized by this Obama guy..they are enchanted by his new words of hope and change.. of course it couldnt be that anyone else in the country every thought of those two words ..he probably has license on them in any case..
So, we have a bunch of kids who have never voted before, who havent a clue what the real problems of every day life are.. like paying a mortgage or looking after sick relatives, trying to get a good education for your kids.. pay medical bills.. find or keep a job.. ..they've never experienced any of those things.. so this guy promises them life in a bed of roses and they believe him.. the people that are fed up with the way the Republicans have kept us safe for the last years despite having to fight a war to do it..(whether or not you think that is bad or good) want change and Obama talks about change.. so they get promised change and they vote for him..THEIR CHANGE WILL BE MORE TAXES AND A WORSE ECONOMY AND WORSE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS.. the wealthy people.. well they know he's a left left liberal and know he won't tax the rich.. all these nice people that are paying for his campaign.. (well along with the gop that is) so they vote for him..the rest are still in a daze as there has been so much hype they can't even think anymore so they vote for him too.. and on it goes.. It is so reminiscent of the PIED PIPER who got the rats to follow him.. to their destruction.. or how about Jim Jones.. remember him?? he got them to follow him to paradise.. and then he got them to drink the cool-aid.. the poor blind sheep did what he said.. This is a similar "trance-like" movement where the sheep follow.. not knowing truly who the hell they are following.. just they are following someone who says he will "give" them hope and change.. What rhetoric crap. How many of them looked into what this guy has done.. what has he actually done for the American people..what has he accomplished.. what are his list of awards and honors.. how is he distinguished? ..Have they seen his abysmal voting records.. checked out what he voted present on.. a lot of issues he refused to take a stance on.. or how about the votes he changed.. THAT RIGHT.. HE CHANGED HIS VOTES ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS.. He said he pushed the wrong button a few times.. (do we want a president that can't push the right button ?? oh my no..) other times he just changed his vote 2 minutes after making it.. NOW I CALL THAT DEDICATION AND KNOWING YOUR OWN MIND..!!! then we finally get the proof that he associated with REZKO for 17 years.. he denied knowing him personally but he actually worked for the same firm as REZKO did when he was building his low cost housing units.. REZKO was on Obama's Finance comittee..he turned over a lot of money to Obama..allowed him to secure a home for $300,000 under market value.. REZKO performed fund raisers for Obama.. and then he TRIES TO TELL US HE DID NOT KNOW THIS CRIMINAL PERSONALLY.. lies..lies and more lies.. REZKO is in jail now for taking kickbacks and other illegal matters but his buddy is running for president.. give me a break!! What are we doing even considering this guy for this office.. THIS IS THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS AND POWERFUL OFFICE IN THE WORLD AND WE ARE EVEN CONSIDERING LETTING A GUY WET BEHIND THE EARS (He has served half of his FIRST TERM IN THE U.S. SENATE) a greenhorn with no experience in international matters, the federal government or lisasons necessary to run the government on a daily basis.. THE US WILL BE A LAUGHING STOCK OF THE WORLD.. At least, even if you dont like Bush.. the U.S. is still shown respect for their position of being the strongest nation on earth. And as if Obama wouldn't be damage enough in the white house.. his wife Michelle would be the icing on the cake.. she's a nut case.. power hungry, controlling opportunist who has just admitted she has never had pride in AMERICA.. what..?? a potential first lady..?? no way.. get out of here.. go back to Illinois and hang your head in shame.. how dispicable a thing to say. We would be ridiculed for not being able to offer a better choice of and a different kind of leader.. no matter their race, color or religion.. we NEED AND THE WORLD DEMANDS THAT WE HAVE A STRONG, CAPABLE AND CONSISTENT LEADER WITH A RECORD OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND A DIRECTION TO TAKE OVER THE WHITE HOUSE ON DAY ONE.. WE CANNOT AFFORD A GREENHORN THAT NEEDS BABYSITTING AND 4 YEARS OF TRAINING ..EVEN FOR WORLD STABILITY WE MUST HAVE THOSE CHARACTERISTICS IN OUR PRESIDENT.... Wake up America.. watch just who you turn your country over to.. if we have no one strong at the helm we will have problems in short order .. if it is Obama we will start our rather quick decent into oblivion. Obviously he's taking Senator Clinton to task in this election - and it looks like he is going to defeat her soundly. So while she has more experience and a head start in every area - he's going to win. Seems like somebody who can execute a successful strategy and overcome the odds to me.
And honestly, Bush has set the international "laughing stock" bar so low we could elect the three stooges right now and the world would see us in a better light.
GW Bush chews, and smokes, and let's not forget his history with alcohol and cocaine. And he got elected - twice!
First ladies are known to light up too. Mamie Eisenhower, Jackie Kennedy, Betty Ford, and Nancy Reagan also smoked cigarettes.
