Once proud democrat
Submitted on February 13th, 2008 by SwidrowTo Republicans maybe: 2 years ago I would have agreed. However, I do not feel that the Democrats have done enough since the 2006 elections which they took over the senate and the house of reps. Then was their time to seize their momentum. What did they do, they pointed that Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the house. She hasn't done anything, that is when "change" was possible. The Democrats have just sat there, the republicans will impeach a president for lying about sexual favors; the democrats can not get the guts to impeach Bush and Cheney for false causes of going to war and Halliburton contractors. Just let Obama get in and see how fast they "swiftboat" him with the issue of experience. People will jump off his ship very fast and flock to McCain.
Republicans maybe.
