This Nov. 08th election is a stark difference between political parties.
Posted 26 weeks 6 days ago byLet me make the case for people to vote for Republicans this year. First, our party (Republicans) are strong on National Defense. We believe in fighting terrorists over there, not here. The best Defense is a great Offense. Ever since 9/11, America hasn't suffered from another terrorists attack - Thanks to the Republicans. With the uncertainity of the world from Iran to N.Korea, the Republicans have shown that they have the experience to deal with rogue nations hell bent on our destruction. The Democrats want to talk to nations that are guilty of killing our soldiers - like Iran. They say, talk to Syria and Iran. Countries like those will only use those talks for their own psychological and political advantage. Those countries are the reason why the mid-east is in such turmoil. Secondly, we are the party of low taxes. We want taxes to be cut across the board from individual income rates to corporate taxes. How about that for stimulating the economy. It's a fact, by cutting taxes, more revenue will be brought into the Federal Government than leaves it. The Democrats want to raise your taxes. YES. That's a fact. By letting George Bush's tax cuts expire, they are raising your taxes, period. Democrats believe in massive new spending on Healthcare - which also will bring in new levels of government. They believe in government run healthcare which will mean more money to fund (higher taxes) and less choice for the individual. People know that when the government gets involved in most anything, it means more regulations and interference in your life. The Republicans believe in a market-based approach to healthcare in the form of Health savings Accounts in which you the consumer can save pre-tax dollars towards your own healthcare plan that you select based on the free market principals. In other words, the best plan for the cheapest amount of money. Great! No government involved. I've given you some stark differnces between the parties, I hope the people of the United States will choose a Republican for President on Nov.08 and a Republican Congress. Thank You.

Iraq is the problem.
Submitted on February 13th, 2008 by AnonymousBy fighting them over there, we have committed 3000+ soldiers to die, 30,000 wounded soldiers missing limbs, eyes, genitals, ears, toes, fingers, etc., and we've spent $1 Trillion Dollars! That's the biggest case against Republicans I have ever heard.
Do the tax cuts equal $1 Trillion Dollars in savings to the american people? Where do you expect that we should get that money from? Unless we pull out soon, and leave as failures with Iraq in shatters and humiliated in the eyes of Arab countries everywhere, we have another $1 Trillion to spend. How is this a strategy that Americans should back and continue.
McCain thinks we should be in Iraq for at least another 10-years or more. Do you? How much more money and American lives are you willing to on Iraq - a country that won't step up and take control of it's own territory? Without that tax revenue, how do you plan to pay for this never ending war?
