Mike Huckabee: Missed Opportunity?
Posted 47 weeks 1 day ago byGiven the disillusionment among many conservative voters, I can't understand how Mike Huckabee has eluded their attention. What does he not bring that they are looking for? I know he's thought to be a tax-heavy Republican. But why would he support the Fair Tax if that's true? Also, the media has pigeonholed him as the "evangelical candidate", making it appear that his voting bloc is limited and he's not presidential material. But that perception would seem to be easy to fix before November especially since his message appears to strongly be one of governmental non-interference, which would resonate with a much broader audience. Most of all, like Obama he has a level of charisma that is rare and can energize a crowd. If he doesn't get the nomination then it will be sad that so many conservatives failed to see his potential, because he has it all. I can actually see him taking the remaining states if voters are able to see through the stereotypes.

Huckabee

Agreed, nevertheless he
